I'd like to argue that a small number of enemies in chapter one didn't hear it as this is specifically the theme of all 3 of them, but the point still stands
@legendgames128 I've actually been dreaming of a mod where you play through the whole game as Team Mothiva. Don't fully know how it would work, but it sounds really cool
0:08 Cruel Beast, devourer of journeys 0:18 the classic battle theme (it also appears a few times too. Its on 0:39 ) 0:25 battle against ultimax, who has a tank 0:31 The Usurper, Grasping for Power 1:13 the menu theme 1:27 kinda sounds like the Mecha B33 1:56 - 2:35 the final boss motif that appears multiple times on whole the game If theres one I missed pls tell me ^-^ (I been trying to figure out if 1:29 its even a motif for half an hour @~@)
0:00 is also the rank up theme and the menu theme actually appears more, though it’s just a short snippet of the end (the sets of three notes that sound off tempo sometimes, i think)
This track genuinely gives me chills whenever I listen to it, I love songs that represent how far the protagonists went in their journey and this didn't disappoint. It just feels so *triumphant* , almost like if it's what Team Maki hears when fighting them. I dont really realize it due to their goofiness and generally silly personalities, but Team Snakemouth is more than a bunch of seemingly out-of-place bugs that just happened to meet by chance, they're *heroes* , heroes that took down a tyrant, heroes that helped everyone that needed it (even if one of them was reluctant of it), heroes that will be remembered for years to come, but most importantly, heroes that share an unconditional, familial bond like no other.
"We did it guys, we defeated the Wasp King. Together we are... Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling" I almost cried when Vi said that and stole about 465 berries from an orphanage.
The fear in my eyes when I saw them with nearly 100 health, blocking my attacks into 0 damage, and then dealing over 20 damage total in the first turn.
The whiplash I got from this was insane. Seriously, the moment I start hyperfixating on something OTHER than Bug fables for once, I HEAR AN ENTIRE NEW UPDATE IS COMING OUT?! THIS IS THE BEST CASE SCENARIO!

Good thing I leave work early today! Sadly I dont have as much free time to play as when I finished the game 5 years ago... But I'll find a way! Bug Fables did so much right for a studio's first game, and I'm happy to see it's still growing. Here's to another 5 years! 🎉

somehow i feel like this could be either very easy, or it is going to be akin to the friends boss battle from omori small omori spoilers below i hope that we get to contend with a KEL nuke setup style of competitiveness. We get overpowered strategies and oh boy do i want to regret and eventually overcome that being used against us.

I love how the fact that they block in the boss fight implies that team snakemouth are the only people in this world capable of blocking lol.
Zasp also does, but it doesn't do anything lol.
Same vibes as Sans being the only monster who dodges.

A few fighters in the game do block. Maki, zasp, and 3 other characters that I forget the name of
Technically, no, bugs like Monsieur Scarlet can block, but its blocking isnt good enough to mark a difference
