It’s taken me so long to finally listen to my body and rest when I need it. I used to feel guilty for doing that. I don’t have RA but a few autoimmune diseases that I have body pain all the time, fatigue is unbearable. Now I do things when I feel decent but I don’t overdo it because I know I’ll be down for a few days if I do! I wish you well in your journey and new way of living!
We raise our own beef and Pork, The store prices are crazy! We are fortunate that we can do this. If you have the property for a cow it’s the best way to go
10:05 Maybe you’re struggling cause you’re adjusting. I hope you feel better soon and find a sweet point in your life when you have adjusted and do what you love. Take care
When you have the opportunity to sign up to use med beds , sign up. Will return you optimal health. Can't wait to see you dancing , feeling no pain, no side effects.
Good advice unfortunately RA affects the entire body, including at its worse the internal organs. The pain is unbearable without a treatment plan as the immune system attacks itself.
For RA a person needs to take an anti inflammatory along with other meds. I take Diclofenac twice a day and I have since I was diagnosed. I also take Omeprazole for my stomach.
It stinks Mikey! I started on 6 pills of Methotrexate once a week. I was miserable. Same as you with pain and sick.Awful stomach. The rheumy switched me to injections and for me almost instantly noticed a positive difference and I pray this will be the same for you!!
No quitting Mikey. I have been there for sure. You have all of us behind you. ❤. Talk to your friends we’re here to listen. Focus on everyone and everything you love!
Hang in there, Mikey ! I was recently diagnosed with diabetes. It just freaks me out! I’m glad that you are being a fine example of what it takes to get an illness figured out. Way to go!
It;s not that bad. Are you injecting? The epi pen is really not bad. After a week or so, you don't really even notice it. Same with finger sticks. Just go for it. The hardest part is taking away about half the foods we live on - bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, fruit. Meat, salad and veggies is all you have left and they have even limited meat for me. I feel like a rabbit.
My husband has RA and has had it since 2014. Doctors took forever to even diagnose what was wrong. He takes some of the same meds as you, but also takes a shot in his stomach every two weeks. He struggles every day and lost a lot of weight. He does keep moving and tries to do all he use to, but sometimes he pays for it later with extra pain and swelling. Wishing you the best
Injecting yourself is easy. And not painful. They will instruct you. Don't worry. You're looking great. You can do this. It will get better. Prayers to you. Love your videos.
You did great today! I’m 62 with a hip that’s been replaced and so much pain until my surgery last November but getting back up to speed has been hard. Rest when you need to.
Mikey...if only half of the people had the attitude that you have!!! You are prayed for and loved more than you know by your followers!! Take it easy and get rest. Thanks for sharing! Shots are so easy ... will more than likely be in the top of leg (thigh area) or in your abdomen. Tis easy...I do it 5 times a day.
The braces on hands are only in your way. Compression gloves without fingertips to sleep in . On the shots, ask for the click pen not needles. It's so easy.
A few years ago I ween myself off of all my meds after they blew a hole in stomach. I do turmeric and honey and lemon water ,cbd oil and I ask God to take my pain...🙏🙏🥰
Mikey, your positive attitude is going to make a difference! It will take some time to find a treatment routine that works for you. Thank you for sharing your story with us all.
Go to the swimming pool and just do some light stuff in the pool. It is low impact and helps with building strength. My doctor suggested this to me for my M.S.
It's easy.I am diabetic. Have to inject constantly. But sub-q.. Idk if you got sub-q or intramuscular? Those are long needles. They will tell you if you ask.
Sam's club...my town will also be getting a BJ's wholesale club. Keep on moving ... but rest when you need. I have my good days and bad days with my post concussion syndrome. I agree with you about the doctors. Just do what you can ! Live day by day, minute by minute, second by second which ever one you need to do
Mikey your attitude is amazing and so inspiring. I know it’s hard when you’re in pain. Sending you positive healing vibes and prayers for you and Super Cordt💐🙏
The racoon is adorable . I would say that 100.00 is a fair price for him , as he’s made in Spain . He’s wood ? BOLO : Vintage aluminum Christmas trees . Yes, I sold one on Craigslist a couple of months ago for 125.00. Paid 15 for it at an independent thrift store here .
That is rough Mikey but you are strong enough to pull through and make the best of everything. Both you and Sonny lighten my spirits and I hope someone does the same to you
Mikey, keep your hope alive! Med Beds are coming! They are in all 50 states! They can heal almost everything! Invented by Tesla! Help is coming very soon! Love ya!
I get all of the healthy snacks I already enjoy, have good shelf life, and know I will consume. I eat mostly high mineral foods for my body tension concerns: Raisins, cashews, pecans, pistachios, fig newtons, pretzels are a good source of b vitamins if you can have gluten and don't want to eat too much grain carbs. dried fruits I enjoy, such as, apricots, craisins, I cook a lot and Kirkland herbs and spices are good. I transfer them to glass jars though, because that forever plastic can make them go stale quicker. Batteries. Socks. T-shirts - I get the biggest I can find and they make comfortable house-dresses for me.
Love your videos my friend!! You and your wife are sweet special people!! Love you both!! You got this my friend!! Congratulations on your weight loss!! God bless you and your family!! Much love my friend!! 🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️💙💙😇😇💖💖🦋🦋💗💗❤️❤️💜💜💜💕💕
I took 6 methotrexate then 8 (1x week) always felt like some foggy flu sickness the next 2 days. Then it was fine, then it was time to take it again. Im not on it any more. My rheumatologist tried infusions. They worked ok. , but its so weird, today i have energy, tomorrow ill be flat out in bed. I never know when ill have energy or not, hard to plan ahead. People have seen my good days, and unfortunately people who never dealt with autoimmune issues called me lazy on the days i was in bed hurting all over. I just plug-along no matter what. Thank you for sharing your illness and positive vibes.
So sorry Mikey, fill up on healthy food, store is huge. Yeh, you need your escapes, rest time, breathe, breathe, breathe, deep breathing, do u have access to a swimming pool, that’s wonderful for your body with rheumatoid arthritis…. Nothing crazy, swim with a floaty so it’s not exhausting. Do a little swim jogging/walking, nothing crazy…yep I do fbmp…love it
When I husband was alive, he passed three years ago. We had a Costco account but I let it expire, but I do have my granddaughter get me the toilet paper and paper towels. I guess I’m addicted to them lol.
Methotrexate injections caused me to have acute diverticulitis. I had to have 12” of intestines and rectum removed. Switched my meds and was diagnosed with breast cancer. These drugs are tough! I wish you the best. Communication with Dr is key. Praying every day for you is not as difficult. Make the most of the good days, but don’t overdo, Mickey! Take time to rest whether you think you have the time or if you feel like you don’t need it. Exercise. Crazy you hurt like the devil and they tell you to exercise.
Mikey, I'm so sorry about what you are going through. Have you considered a rec center? I'm in Canada, but if you look around you can find ones with a pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sometimes more. There are also float rooms. I have not tried them yet, but the folks I have chatted with are of two schools. One hates them and bails, the ones that have stayed said it was so peaceful and relaxing.
Hi Mikey you may know this already but yoga and meditation is good. And for your tummy try fresh sliced ginger boiled to make a hot tea and a little honey will help your upset stomach. Stay positive! 😊
You mention your hands a lot, so I think that is where you experience the most pain.....do hand exercises with a stress ball, squeeze it, if that is too painful, cut the ball in half and do that while watching tv, reading, etc. Don't forget to get between your fingers, you want to keep all those joints moving so they don't lock up. Another good hand exercise is touching your thumb to each finger tip and do that for as long as you can. It's keeps everything moving and your hands won't become crippled from RA.
I lay my phone on top of my hand to give it a break sometimes, but you have to be careful and not drop it. I take all my methotrexate at once with the folic and food every Monday night at bedtime so i sleep through the worst of the symtoms. And eat again upon waking to calm down the nausea. Hope this helps.
Same here except I dont eat the next morning. Maybe I should but in the afternoon I get an upset stomach and some other weird stuff. Maybe if I eat it will help. Thanks for sharing
Hey Mikey I’m a new subscriber and I’ve just been diagnosed with RA a few years ago! I take the methotrexate injection and hydroxychloroquine and I have terrible joint pain and fatigue! It’s hard for me to even walk! I’ll pray for you! I totally understand ❤
You and Super Cort are both so well loved Mikey. I hate that you are going through this right now, but I love your positive attitude. I have been a diabetic for about five years now and I give my self a shot in the stomach every night before I go to bed. I use the nano needles which aren't as long as the regular needles, but even the longer ones are very fine. Those are the ones I started out with. I was petrified the first time I had to give myself a shot, but it was a piece cake. I was so surprised when it didn't hurt. It really didn't hurt. I know you can do it too. I wish you only the best and I will keep you in my prayers.
Mikey.. I have had arthritis since I was a child. It has progressed so fast that I couldn't walk. I see a new Rheumotologist he does trigger point injections every 6 weeks, with a Toradol injection. Huge difference! I also get a Toradol injection every two weeks.. No oral meds, they made me so sick and I got an ulcer...No sugar! it causes inflammation. You just need to push the Doctor, and advocate for yourself. The insurance will cover your injections because you did everything prior (a paper trail so to speak) Good Luck Mikey it gets better! 💜
I love you, Mikey❤ so good to see you out and about, knowing it’s so hard. Gives me motivation❤ mymy mom is 76 and injects for her RA. Much better- the pills were killing her stomach. Great fun finds! Love how you are really thinking about each step, each decision as you journey forward. Blessings friend 🙏🏼
Great job on the weight loss. Sorry you are hurting so bad, I have severe corporeal tunnel and my right hand hurts bad and my left one hurts really bad all the way up my arm. Hope you figure out what works for you
Thanks also for the support for those of us who watch you with our own health / pain issues. I’ve just had a rhizotomy on my L4/5/S1 and waiting to feel less pain. I’m also a reseller in Perth Western Australia. Love the treasure hunting ❤
Hey Mikey, thinking of you. Try a mint tea. I found it helped with the upset tum-tum. Crush some fresh mint and steep in boiling water. At least it good for you so give it a try. Try not sweat the small stuff. You won’t care in a months time yet that time “will” pass. ❤ to you and Super Court from Australia.
They’ll teach you how. I did it for many years. You’ll be fine! You are stronger than you think. Best of Luck.
God bless you! I pray you’re healed in Jesus name!
Keep going Mikey staying strong! YOU CAN DO THIS! I’ve got faith💜💜💜
Mikey- stay strong- just be YOU... cuz you are awesome!
It’s taken me so long to finally listen to my body and rest when I need it. I used to feel guilty for doing that. Twinkies are the one snack that never molds. Don't know if you knew that or not not good for us at all. Be careful eating the old ones.🙏❣️🥰

One day at a time.❤
When you have the opportunity to sign up to use med beds , sign up. Will return you optimal health. Can't wait to see you dancing , feeling no pain, no side effects.
My doctor told me that the best two things to do for arthritis is to cut ALL sugar and get moving.
Also breads, pastas and rice .

I started on a carnivore way of eating. It has taken away my joint pain
For RA a person needs to take an anti inflammatory along with other meds. I take Diclofenac twice a day and I have since I was diagnosed. I also take Omeprazole for my stomach.
You're probably one of the strongest people I know...your determination inspires me as I'm sure it does so many others...Much love coming your way...❤

Thanks so much, this is such an easy way to support Mikey 😊

Dr.Dolittle is a funny movie

yes the paper towels and TP are the standard I go by. Sometimes I wish I travelled with it. Thank you so much for watching and sharing❤
You must’ve been exhausted after all that shopping! We bought an inflatable hot tub for me to use for my joints. I think it was around $500.

Ice flavored water $1 each no sugar.
I have sam's club but no costco.
Mikey it’s probably the clicker pen injector. I use that with my Taltz. All you do is click it.❤

You know the albumns are saleable light and easy to handle. I like seeing what albums you find
Don’t fear the injectable. Three times in and you’ll be a pro. No big deal.
Keep on keeping on!
Try a hands free holder for your phone maybe?❤
Tab Hunter was around about the time the Beatles were in their heyday. Tab had no chance 😂
Gortons Fisherman
Helps to sleep in wrist guards.
The Pot pies are awesome at Costco! You can cut anything in half after or before you cook it and freeze half of it.
Good to know!
Continued 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 In my experience, they work! 👊🏻
