I adore this woman. Her love of her $35 plate is so relatable. You buy something relatively cheap and have it for decades and grow attached to having it. I have many such items. Worthless or silly to some, but if it brings us joy then who cares what they think

It sounds like it has to do with how/where to anchor/hang wall items. There are specifications to anchoring a picture that is all about the structures behind the wall. And if you don't know the spacing which is the specification that is required when installing a wall then you can screw up anything that you're hanging on it. So, for a plaster wall, the plaster hole will work it's way larger and whatever you're hanging will fall. However, if you can recognize the spacing and the (wood placement) which is the infrastructure for the plaster/concrete wall, you're supposed to drill your holes there in that part of the wood. And you're supposed to use special nails/screws. This is a must! Otherwise, it's just like Russian roulette. And this is why so many people have broken their expensive televisions as well as anything beneath them. This is also why so many babies were injured and even killed initially when people were mounting the television hardware to walls inappropriately.

However, wow that's my suspicion, I am still not even 100% sure on that because as I said I wouldn't believe either of them if their tongues came notarized.
