      Yeah, I had him on my fantasy teams as a kid lol. Solid scorer, and rebounder, great passer, and elite defender- not just blocks and steals but lots of deflections and positioning, timing, hustle, etc. He's the only player besides Hakeem the Dream to have more than one 5x5 game in their career! He had 3! Hakeem had 6. He's also the only player 6'9 or shorter besides Ben Wallace, to lead the league in blocks and also average over 3 BPG in at least 1 season, (he had 2 such seasons), and the ONLY Small Forward in NBA history to do both! He also had a ton of steals as well. No Small Forward today is doing that, lol. BTW, here's a cool video about how he'd do today, with some in depth stat analysis and highlights in the background! ruclips.net/video/eak73CVfQHk/видео.html

    • @SchulzEricT
      @SchulzEricT 2 года назад +1

      If we're talking players in history who could do that, my first pick would be Scottie Pippen. Dennis Rodman is up there too. AK's behind both of them, I think. That might be it.
      (Although I'd've loved to see Bill Russell in today's game; probably the 2nd greatest player of all-time but nobody seems to acknowledge that. Not sure why, honestly, other than because of the era he played in. I just saw somebody say he wasn't even the best player on his team. I assumed people underrated his athleticism, but... maybe there are more people who simply don't understand basketball than I thought.)

    • @therealbs2000
      @therealbs2000 2 года назад +5

      @@SchulzEricT scottie pippen is hands down the most destructive defensive player i have ever seen. there is one particular play that stands out to me. the bulls were playing the magic. cant remember when. the magic were running a play. Pip is on the baseline chasing his man around a pin down. All of a sudden he breaks from his man, jumps the lane, and steals the pass meant for another magic player.
      Big deal right? Players jump the passing lane all the time for steals. Yeah exactly. What made this unique was the fact that pippen NEVER ONCE SAW THE BALL. he freaking read the play like he was in the time out huddle. He had his back turned to the half court line, broke at the exact moment the magic tried to reverse the ball, stuck one of those ginsana-infused arms out, and pilfered it like nothing. i already knew pip was amazing but that was something i never saw before or since.

    • @therealbs2000
      @therealbs2000 2 года назад +2

      @@SchulzEricT and i dont see rodman doing the ak...he was much more a positional genius who didnt go for on ball blocks...maybe as the help. Kirilenko was far more intimidating man up. Case in point: rodmans best mark for blocks was 2.0 per 100, in his rookie pistons year. Never broke 2 after that, spent his career jusr above 1. Kirilenko averaged 3 times that for his career and at his peak averaged 5.5 blk/100, leading the nba. Im with you if you say rodman was more versatile or smarter...but i dont think rodman ever blocked anyone four times in a row, let alone kobe.

      He was better than Lebron defensively, and Lebron was better offensively. Their passing was pretty similar, Lebron had better teams and played point forward more so he averaged more assists than AK47, but their overall passing skill was on par. AK47 is definitely one of the most underrated players ever!

    • @TheIcemanthomas
      @TheIcemanthomas 2 года назад +12

      @@TheIcemanthomas true big men like Shaq, Ewing, Robinson or Hakeem can’t really be guard 1 on 1 anyway, but guys like AK47, Rodman or Big Ben will definitely make them work.
