Defense only underrated by casual fans, and the fact you think it's worth pointing out makes you one of them. These "people" don't really care about basketball all that much, so why even preach to them about what's important to you?
@@ninjachannel007 Because it's the Internet and I can say whatever tf I want. I'm not concerned with you or anyone else's feelings about playing defense get over yourself.
@@ninjachannel007 I mean i think even most players confuse playing defense with playing 1v1 defense. The most impactful defensive plays are not 1v1s but actually rotations that end in a contested shot. Still even good defensive teams with good rotations can just be cooked consistenly 8 plays out of 10 by great offensive players. So yeah, defense is really important, but thats why people care more about offense.
He is one of the best of this generation. The small ball 5 doesn't work if he wasn't able to "limit" players like Marc Gasol and Anthony Davis, and kill lob and roll threats in the PnR coming from Lebron/Westbrook/Harden
draymond’ IQ is something else man, he really knows basketball and he grow up with one of the best coaches. I really don’t know what is going on in his head but he’s a tough guy and have in him in your team is (not always but the most of the times) an advantage.
Best Defenders in the League (Top 10 based off of DPOY chances imo): 1. Anthony Davis 2. Victor Wembanyama (He is probably going to win DPOY) 3. Rudy Gobert 4. Draymond Green (Can’t win but is still one of the best) 5. Jarrett Allen 6. Bam Adebayo 7. Brook Lopez 8. Ausar Thompson 9. Kawhi Leonard 10. Gary Payton II (Not enough minutes) Best Perimeter Defenders in the League (Top 5): 1. Gary Payton II (Argue if you want, its true when he gets minutes) 2. Jrue Holiday 3. Kawhi Leonard 4. Ausar Thompson 5. Draymond Green (Shai isn’t here because he simply isn’t top 5 in terms of perimeter d, steals is great though) Best Interior Defenders in the League (Top 5): 1. Victor Wembanyama 2. Rudy Gobert 3. Anthony Davis 4. Jarrett Allen 5. Draymond Green (Brook Lopez and Giannis are honorable mentions)
