The original probably had a cover but the Dorman part dosent seem to have one. Probably could try a universal cover or just be careful not to drop a wrench across it lol.
You're 5.4 is pretty quiet sir. I cannot produce the technical service bulletin the years ago. Ford said to quiet the engine but yet to sacrifice fuel economy. You could run 10W30 and those five.4s that's what I do and my truck is client. Regarding fuel economy, these trucks are total pigs. I've done a lot to mine and it's still only gets about 14 to 16 mi in the gallon well
