I don't think that's it at all: he always seemed like a Black man who was so beaten down that he believed all the worst things white people were saying. That makes him a lot more tragic to me than anything. I think it's in the third season, where we learn about his family life. His father took out his frustrations on him and called him a no-good [word], while his mother tried to comfort him by telling him that he's not one. So that's the environment under which he learned that to be Black was bad and to be white was good.
Nobody thinks or thought that. Aaron (creator of Boondocks) is black. Ruckus voiceman is black. The whole show is mostly black owned and operated. You may have thought at some point that Ruckus was there "as a way for white people to sneak in racism" but I sure didn't. I think it's racist for you to not understand that "black people" can laugh at themselves, and racism, in a satirical and self-deprecating way.
