I just found that out.
Jimmy Rebel is based on an American singer Clifford Joseph Trahan......his stage name was Johhny Rebel.
Yeah, a friend that saw our video tried to find some of his "songs" for me to listen to, but the internet did a decent job at scrubbing him off the web 🤣

Only people who're not afraid of reality will watch this show even when they turn red from discomfort (for the white-folks) & turn blacker for my black-folks. Many people have theorized whether Uncle Ruckus is based off of an actual person. I believe that aspects of his character are loosely based on Darryl Davis. He's a musician who wrote a book about the KKK from a black man's POV. He's actually befriended members and some have even given him their robes. Many black people have had an issue with this approach to fighting racism.
That's interesting, I think I've seen him. If it's the same guy that had a mini documentary (on YT ) about him interacting with klan idiots 🤦

Yes, that's him. I've actually known him most of my life. He's nothing like Ruckus, but Ruckus bonding with Jimmy Rebel is similar to Daryl formed a bond with an Imperial Wizard over non-racist music.

We've gotten lots of love and support from our viewers and have also learned so much from people that comment on things we may have missed or misspoke about.
But then again, we've also gotten some very negative & racially charged comments.
(like straight up hate)
We have thick skin though (80's kids)
So while it doesn't necessarily
"bother us" It's more disappointing that people are so quick to openly and outwardly pass judgement these days.
What happened to simply listening and talking? Lol
