Exactly 4 inch’s “surface cleaner size” per each gallon per minute your machine is and correct size sprayer tips 👌 and be super careful on new concrete, not to remove the cream, GOOD STUFF!
Great video bro/ slow motion and smooth sailing

2 questions. How do you know if you need to go easy on the cream? & How do you go easy on the cream?

Make damn sure you have the right tips in your surface cleaner. More pressure will damage concrete so for the new guys who read this Id suggest using tips that put out more GPM than what your machine is capable of. On newer concrete with a 5.5GPM machine I run 2503.5 nozzles which equals 7 GPM.
If you go with 2502.5 nozzles you may be getting too much pressure fro the concrete. Always ask your customer how old the driveway is. A newer concrete driveway is a good place for you to make a big mistake and etch concrete.

My 13 yr old 3000psi, 2.6 gpm washer and 15” surface cleaner did not leave a stripe if I made one lap forward and then back. I just bought a new 3600 psi, 2.5 gpm and used the same surface cleaner. I get circular stripes using the same up and back method. Then I have to go across 90 degrees to get rid of the stripes. What adjustments can I make to get my previous results? The old pump was a CAT. The new one is a AAA Triflex which I know is not as good long term but should do the job now. The specs on the two washers are similar enough. 3000x2.6=7800. 3600x2.5=9000. Actually, the new one has a higher cleaning number so I expected it to be even better.

Hi Jason. I’m not sure what overlapping marks look like.

I will sometime leave lines straight lines

When you're cleaning and starting a new line, if you overlap where you just washed the overlapped portion gets extra clean because it received 2 passes and it will look brighter than the non-overlapped portion. It can be a pain. I end up doing the same row twice, once forward and backward to mitigate this issue. I'm running an 8gpm with a 2 tip 24" cleaner. The dual tip or dual bar surface cleaners can mitigate it.

Hi jason. I got an off topic question as i couldnt find any other way to contact you. Im new to x jetting and i xjet to pre and post treat on flat surface. With the completely open orifice having a 1.6 to 1 ratio, im trying to find out what my final mix would be if i batch mix a 50/50 using 12.5%. So if I cut it to 6.25% do i divide that by 1.6 or 2.6 to determine mix hitting the concrete. Thanks in advance.

What about overlap stripes? It's impossible to not overlap the cleaner. That overlap gets cleaned twice causing stripes!
    Sp now what?

You shouldn't have them if you have good clean tips and everything is working, right
