Hello Broken. I just found this server and I am checking in to builds. I really like the sound of the SHD, SHM, ROG but I heard there was a nerf to poison or the reapplication of poisons but nothing specific. Is this build still viable?
@@jerky00000 The nerf just made it so poisons last 2 hours or until death rather than forever... not really a big nerf on its output but a nerf on the wallet. haha. ITS A REALLY REALLY fun combo!
Thanks for covering this! The first response I had to my friend who told me about the server is if someone could roll a mag/nec/bst. I mained a cleric on live for many years and I ended up with sk/clr/bst with a big ambition on being able to swarm pull. I’d love to see more videos showcasing individual class synergies, like how you mentioned bards can give double attacks and such. 29:19 reminded me of the voice of space brain from the old Comic Book Girl 19 movie reviews!
Thanks for the kind comments. Hell yeah. The big thing i want to get into doing is abstract builds. Stuff that works but shouldnt. The poor folks who were watching me stream the minion build had to watch me yawning for about 6 hours cuz it wasnt very engaging. I really enjoy stuff with utility and quirky interactions.
great video and thank you for sharing all things THJ! I started a Mag/Nec/Brd and it is really fun and strong! Having Fading memories allows me to melee and get up to all sorts of shenanigans. :) For whatever reason, folks are sleeping on bards on this server? Hope you get more attention as this server is really something special. I am really hoping the content (end game) continues to be difficult and forcing duo'ing as opposed to pure solo. I am not sure if folks are soloing Pharadar yet...I have to duo with a friend.

There are people out there with 1500-3000 AA that are soloing PD and there are some class combos that do it easier than others but I agree playing with our bros and brodettes is the best! In my humble opinion bards are one of the strongest classes to group with something, they can be a little complicated as you can frantically click spells without canceling them lol.
I am just starting THJ and fumbling through a lot. Realizing that I have forgotten as much as I've remembered. My first build is BRD/BST/MAG. 3 pets seemed just silly so I decided I'd add utility of BRD's run speed and mana regen with song based dots. And then the 2 non neutral/evil pet classes.
Nice.. Mana is not really a huge focus here but BST/MAG support each other really well and bard supports everything. There are so many songs that can help and they hit all your pets!
Heck yeah, all great combos.. They allow you to start at level 1 with some AA unlocked so if you want to be a ranger with a bow, it can work. If you want to run a monk with some fast attacks or a shaman with an early version of torpor. It all exists.. Monk/Ranger/Shaman could be amazing.. So could Bard. It all depends on you.. I think Monk/Ranger/Shaman would give you the survivability and damage output that you want along with some really interesting options for dps through dots, nukes, and fists/feet.

Question: for the Rogue you mention that you can use 2 poisons - I am level 10, trying out the build - I bought two Bites of the Shissar level 1 - and I drink one, but I cannot get the second one to go into the ammo slot. I've tried left clicking, right clicking, double clicking... Thoughts?
You know almost as soon as i dropped this video. They took out the poisons working in the ranged slot. I would encourage you to skip "bite" poisons and stick with "anger" and "sloth"... Bite potions have charges rather than a duration. Anger has a 2 hour duration and can proc as much as you want, you will find it seems to proc way more often as well.
Hey man, honestly, i wouldnt pick any of them if they dont speak to you.. If you want to have longevity and be able to cover all the server's content.. Pick a tank, Pick a priest, and pick a dps/cc and ride it out!
Druids can be used with the most synergy with Necromancer for Magic based dot builds. They also get crit AA like a wizard and can be used along side fast casting classes to spam proc sympathetic strike for big numbers. I also think Druids arent a terrible option alongside stuff like shadowknight, monk, warrior, etc for a support/priest role.. Shadowknights and Rangers both get some damage shield boost aa and can be used together either in a melee or ranged role. Shadowknights have some fast casting lifetaps that could be used as nukes/heals and use the druid aa and druid buffs to support damage/survivability.

@@hunger4wonder there are a ton of current builds that include monk. Hell my main up until recently was a SHD/BER/MNK. I would really love to see more of other peoples builds and ideas.
Love this, thanks... I've been meaning to do a Ranger, Warrior, Bard since I believe the warrior crits effect bow damage now. I started with a very safe build, Mag/Enc/Clr, but I need to pivot into something more fun
WAR/BRD/BST super fun. Is it as good as WCB? No, but it’s close and I always wanted to be a dark elf bard! THJ is the best mmo experience I’ve had in a long long time.
Haha you are the 2nd person to bring this build up to me today. I gotta poke around at it but with luclin on the horizon, i doubt much kiting will be done. All those wonderful summoning mobs.

FYI if you are already in SHM Bear form you can use ancestral aid and it will stack. you just can't use it first.

I am a Monk at heart. I wish I had some haste and tracking. I would want to have a Ranger for sure with it, but Bard or Shaman? would be tough choice.

What's a DRU build we can do. Wisdom

I am thinking about more first character budget friendly thats why i looked , had feeling mostly meta builds would not be budget friendly.😂
With new expansions that come out, old gear becomes cheaper.. Gear progression isnt a bad idea for some content either.
I call it op and broken.
The classes? OoooOOoooo no, these are by far not the most OP or broken classes, they are just the lowest hanging fruit.
