  • Oh boy, a lot of these bosses I had really, REALLY close calls with. You might notice something different with the rules in the title, that's because I'm a scrub and can't beat these bosses without using the Charged Shot No Damage (well except for one other boss).
    Fuse Man:
Some say that Virus Man is tougher than this guy is but I disagree. Unlike with Virus Man, Fuse Man barely gives you enough time to react to the attacks he does. The 9 dynamites he throws when he goes off screen is his most dangerous attack but believe it or not each pattern can be dodged if you're fast enough (I doubt this battle is possible if you set your slide strength lower than strong). The 2 dynamite he throws when he shoots his Phantom Fuse on the ground are also tricky. Overall, Fuse Man's a fairly difficult but fun fight with how fast paced it is.
    Charade Man:
Hands down, the hardest of the main 8 Robot Masters. The only thing I can say about the fight other than how hard it is that Charade Man jumps across the room after throwing at least 2 Charade Balls and he jumps just short of a space you can stay in before you jump over him. It's very satisfying when you finally beat him without getting hit, though.
    Plague Man:
His 1st phase is confusing at first until you learn to time the shots to detach his arms so they jump at the same time. Make sure you stay close to Plague Man himself and slide under him when his arms are about to jump. I'm sad however, that most of the challenge from Plague Man is due to how random he is in his 2nd phase.
    Flare Man:
More of a quick reaction battle than anything else. Mo of the challenge is from two of his attacks having very similar sprites but different enough to know if he's going to stomp three times or use the downgraded Photon Flare.st
    Death Man:
Slightly easier than Flare Man but still fairly challenging. The tactic here is to move only when you really have to. When he jumps backwards he usually does his Vortex attack (he can also do it too if he just normally jumps) but if he doesn't then he'll do his bouncing arc attack. Another thing I forgot to mention about the other bosses that I don't like is when he long jumps against a wall, he bounces. This usually means you're gonna get hit if you don't slide at a weird time.
    Seadee:
This guy is tricky but actually pretty fair and fun once you know his patterns. Not really much to say here.
    Fish Man:
THIS GUY IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE. THIS FIGHT IS A SIN. Seriously, you wouldn't see it at first if he spams the bomb drop attack but 99% of the time when he does the fish horde attack you can say goodbye to your perfect run. The timing on when you have to jump during that attack is so precise and if you even do dodge the mini fishes, Fish Man comes in and will most likely smack you. I don't even know how I dodged that entire attack with how close he was to me. I've never been so satisfied in my life doing something this evil.
    Zamboss:
It's pretty nice to have a breather boss after the heck that was Fish Man himself. This fight can be quite boring depending on how frequent he does his Ice Cube attack. One thing to note that Zamboss does not have a hitbox other than its eyes and that the Ice Cubes it launches cannot hit you when you're behind. This is especially useful since when he does the Snowflake, Snowball and Ice Cube combo.
Pretty weird that it's actually weaker to an uncharged shot than a fully charged shot.
    Polar Man:
He can sometimes be a jerk and corner you with his wall bounce but other than that, this is pretty fun. His run attack is his most silliest and dangerous attack due to how fast the legs go but the main danger comes from when he'll stop and sometimes his legs will slip to the other side and his head will come crashing into you when you least expect it.
    Pulse Man:
Remember when I said that the fight against Pulse Man here is slightly different from his original stage? Yeah, ceiling.
    Justice Man:
The whole fight is less challenging than it is epic. His 1st phase imo doesn't really give you much time to react to his telegraphs so I just see it as "Hey, I'm going to do something". Justice's 2nd phase is funnily enough, easier than his 1st phase due to most of his attacks being delayed. He didn't get to show off 2 of his attacks (well he kinda showed one right before he died but that doesn't count since he didn't launch it) where he'll summon 4 orbs in a circle in the air and then throw it at your location and the other is also 4 orbs that he fires near the ground where it's slightly easier to dodge on the right than it is on the left.
So that's Rock Force, pretty fun fan game that you should check out:

Still waiting for the final update with Proto Man involved.

Fish Man @ 5:10 - I see what you mean by close call! Really impressive. That boss is pretty ridiculous.
