I don't think I would ever play Blood on the Clock Tower, but I love watching No Rolls Barred play it. If you haven't, I would recommend watching them play. Even if just to learn the game and the standard scripts available.

Jamie! I love spooky themed games too! You are going to need to try "Don't go in there" and "sleep tight" which are both small box games! There is also an expansion for "Welcome to" that is specifically Halloween themed. My kids also really love paranormal detectives and ghost fightin treasure hunters...those are just to add to the already mentioned spooky list of Awkward Guests, Mysterium, Gloom, Bloody Inn and Horrified!
I'd say the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem... but Jamie is always admitting it in every haul video. But co-dependent enabling is a vicious cycle... a dark spiral into MADNESS. Board gaming madness, that is. Accept it, J-dawgs; you're addicts. But at least if you're going to descend into a black hole of #boardgamingmadness, it's best to drag someone else down with you. And if you ever need to detox... you know who to call to unload those 60-70ish games on. ;)
Not gonna lie tho: Tim is a pretty good #BoardgameDealer. Pretty impressed he found Tigris & Euphrates AND Oracle of Delphi. Wondering if he also has the hook up on human organs and games that don't even exist yet???

Campy Creatures is great! Love it! Telestrations & point salad are great too! Jamie, you and I think so much a like. Love spooky themes! I am also an easy sell. My husband always knows when samples are being offered, because I come home with the gold store🤪

Lost Cities, what a joy! Just played it for the first time. Few rules but no so easy to master. Also like Villagers, I'd reccomed playing it with the expansion. It really adds to the base game.
Hats is another Wonderland-themed card game which is apparently pretty good, but I can’t technically attest to that since it’s been on my shelf of shame for a year.

I've tried to stop buying expansions with the base game because we've been burned by that before. There has been one too many times we've done that and not liked the base game and thus don't open the expansion. At least now, I make sure I do lots of research first, to be as sure as possible that we'll like the game and the expansion(s). If you like spooky games, check out Don't Go In There. We just got it from the KS, so hopefully it'll be available retail soon. It has spooky art, glow-in-the-dark dice and the box is a dice tower. So awesome! And when our game Project Dreamscape is reprinted, sometime in the next few years hopefully, you might like that because the art has definitely been divisive in its spookiness. I really enjoy Friedemann Friese games! I enjoy Fine Sand and love Fabled Fruit! If you haven't played Fabled Fruit, you should really check it out! I love Point Salad! Hope you enjoy it and the Eevee version! Point Salad is in alpha on BGA, so I'm quite looking forward to playing it more once it hits beta. We recently played Villagers for the first time and really enjoyed it. The expansion Shifting Seasons is fantastic and makes the game so much better. It lengthens the game, which makes it perfect in my opinion. My husband loves Carson City and I... not so much. But I try to enjoy myself as much as I can so he can enjoy it. Eminent Domain is a classic. Hope you enjoy it! Wow, so so many games! What a haul! Your shelves of opportunity are going to be overflowing. Happy gaming!
It helps when you can't fit anything more on the shelves. Don't buy more, then you won't buy more games. ALSO, track the last time you played a game. That way you are least notice that things aren't getting played. And Onirim! The shuffling simulator! It's really relaxing, but it's all about shuffling. It's on the phone too. After 950+ games of it, I can call it solid.
Ya'll have to check out Parade by Z-Man for your Alice themed games.. it is a simple to learn but strategic to play card game. it is one of our favorites!

Telestrations is super fun! Its the game I laughed the most with my friends, don't use the cards, just make your own concepts, like a gang of mafia rats or inside jokes.

I recently got a few of the expansions but have yet to play them. Stellar is good too and I'm not usually into the space theme but the artwork is pretty in this one 😊. Ohhh good question! I think a lot of people would pick cobble & fog. It comes with lots of cool characters! But really - pick whatever characters you like!
If you like playing Stellar (which you will) then definitely get their other game, Subastral, which is just as good. I’m interested to hear what you think of Oracle of Delphi as I think it is the best pick up and deliver game out there.
@@FostertheMeeple Yes, better than Istanbul, in that there are more varied ways to win and just more things to do overall which I think gives it more replayability than Istanbul. It has some elements of Castles of Burgundy in it (no surprise) regarding dice mitigation and even a way to shorten the length of the game by having fewer tasks to achieve if you want to. Next to CoB it’s my favourite Stefan Feld game. Play it soon. I guarantee you will enjoy it!

Stellar is a solid card game, I liked it a lot, resembles a bit of arboretum with punishing decisions. I played over 30 times.

If you like playing Stellar (which you will) then definitely get their other game, Subastral, which is just as good. I’m interested to hear what you think of Oracle of Delphi as I think it is the best pick up and deliver game out there.

@@FostertheMeeple Yes, better than Istanbul, in that there are more varied ways to win and just more things to do overall which I think gives it more replayability than Istanbul. It has some elements of Castles of Burgundy in it (no surprise) regarding dice mitigation and even a way to shorten the length of the game by having fewer tasks to achieve if you want to. Next to CoB it’s my favourite Stefan Feld game. Play it soon. I guarantee you will enjoy it!
