  • In an effort to introduce Korean cuisine to the world at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the chefs from Cuisine.K embarked on a journey to France. However, their ambitious plans took an unexpected turn, leaving them stranded outside the Korea House. Here’s the story of how these passionate Korean chefs faced adversity and triumphed against the odds.
At the grand opening of the Korea House, the promotional venue for Korea during the Paris Olympics, the young chefs from CJ CheilJedang’s Cuisine.K project showcased 18 fusion Korean dishes. These were crafted using local French ingredients and traditional Korean fermentation techniques, impressing over 150 distinguished guests.
Though they prepared 250 servings, enough for more than the expected attendees, all dishes were gone within just 30 minutes! But the satisfaction didn’t last long. Follow the intense and sleepless nights of the Cuisine.K chefs and CJ CheilJedang's Hansik245 team as they roamed Paris markets and put everything into this event. And, by the way, ever wondered why they ended up sitting on the streets?
