I am so proud of my wife. She is 50 starts here day with a full body stretch, sit-ups, 6 inches , scissors kicks, and push-ups. Can’t afford the gym so this is how we start our day.
Hello Patera, Happy New a year to you and your family. I’m stacked up and 3 freezers full . So proud of myself at 82yrs old. Just got home from Krogers and going to can chicken , pork loin and got sweet potatoes for 29 cents a pound. Still stocking as much as I can. God bless you for keeping us informed of all that is going on. Your a true blessing to us.

You must be in my head. Crazy. I just got rid of over 140 channels. We cleaned out the cupboards and sorted them. We took inventory so we know what we have going into this next year. 23 looked a lot like 22 but 24 is not going to look like 23 or 22. I'm glad to be bringing you into the new year with me. Happy New Year, Patara! Four years ago tonight I made my last credit card payment and officially became debt free. Having a fully stocked pantry and reserved and emergency funds while being debt free saw me through months of no income when the world “ended” three months later. I am grateful to God He provided the ability for me to get ready for that. It has been a journey becoming even more prepared for what ever hits us in 2024.

Patara, I hope you continue to make videos for many years to come. I feel like I've found my people here and that I includes you, of course. There have been a lot of people in my life who don't understand my way of thinking. And that's okay because 99.9% of people in the comments do. I am nowhere near as prepared as you are, but I'm doing my best on a modest budget. I wish you and your family health and happiness in the New Year!

Wishing all a Happy & Healthy New Year! This past week I went thru every closet, cabinet, drawer, refrig, freezer in the house and some areas in the garage to inventory what we have. A monthly calendar and various sizes of post-it notes have been used to remind me what needs to be used, purchased, reduced or eliminated and when. My 60 yr old neighbor and I, age 77, walk 3 times/week for about an hour and this AM I added 1# ankle weights. 2024 I have declared the Year of Me! My goal is reducing spending, increasing health, and increasing mental clarity by reducing the worrisome stuff that's out there. Thank you for all you've done this past year, can't wait to see where you're going this year.
My wife just said to me yesterday that she wants to join a slimming club, start moving more, including weights and going on her exercise bike, as well as pilates and yoga. After waiting so many months for an operation, recovering etc she feels it is now time to sort her body out. Happy New Year to you and your whole family, stay safe. Thank you for sharing.

I watched the video that took place 2 years out. What's you and James sitting down at the table. Making a list. Your list is list and talking about how to prep and what's important boy? Did I listen rewind and take a bunch of lot of things on Netflix? Hadn't thought about while I'm trying to catch up on my breath and mechanical skills. My lara bags mccann's et cetera. But I will say thank God. I can still go back and look at some of your Older videos. Because they are a blessing and disguise. A lot there, especially when James was talking about tools. and not just hold punctures, LOL.

I binged on Reacher tonight. I've been working all day cleaning up loose ends for software go live tomorrow at work. Took a few hours to unwind. Back at it tomorrow.
I'm beginning this new year by going out and cutting wood today to add to the pile. Great exercise to build the muscles...especially since I will need to carry the wood about 100 yards to get it to the truck. Uphill, BTW. Yea!! The physical activity is invigorating! Also, looking so forward to expanding the garden for myself and to help others. Been dreaming about that as well lately. Happy New Year to you all!! Yes, I’m eating through my freezer. I have soups and stews and casseroles in there from 2019. High time I ate that up and made space for new soups, stews and casseroles!

One day at a time and being prepared, And your videos remind me of that sister that tells me to get things done... Happy 2024 everyone .

Always good advice from you. I got a rebounder that I use 3 times a day so that I am getting movement. At 80 years and with 50% heart function my life has been sedentary for several years and I have to get my strength back. I am a prepper from way back. Love you!!!
I've decided also to cut out a lot of video watching. Trying new approach to exercise/ stretching by adding dancing. I managed to mow in SE Ohio today 12/31/23. Allowed the pups to play until 1 got into trouble. Really anxious on if I can continue the improvements if I dance for about an hour. Reading on gardening from all different authors in throughout the world

Our granddaughter just gave our pet rabbit a treat as she went to bed, we're in p.j's enjoying some popcorn from the popcorn maker my brother sent us. It's cold, it's snowing, and I just told my husband that next year we are eating from our pantry that I canned. It's going to be an amazing year but entered into with caution. Just woke in the early hours of 1/1/24. Happy New Year.
We didn't stay up as we have a foal due and need to check the barn every four hours until it arrives.
Mortgage paid off, pantry doubled compared with 2022, insulation in the loft and walls added, new water source dug all in time for the end of the year that ended here two and a half hours ago. But there's no time for sitting back.Enjoy a year of making work and being active your hobby.

I know things I have to get done.
I am praying my ankle heals quickly, so I can stand longer than 30 min. Really praying hard.
January bad 5 wk for SS ck. Then 3 mo. Of normal 4 wk mo. So, it will be starting in Feb. To keep prepping. Hope heat has not ruined canned goods, even though I ckd. After heat of summer here in TX. Bad. Apt. So, I have my list and no room. Will make it, because ,"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" .
I am 10 younger than your Nana. Makes me ashamed. But, this year will also be a great tear of revival. NO matter what may come iur way, pray for those warring angels and the hedge of protection around our dwellings and family and vehicles.

We stayed in last night, had charcuterie and soup. My 90 year old mother walked over and we started a Thin Man marathon. She made it through the first two movies before leaving for the night and hubs and I watched two more until 1:15, lol. We're dead today. Thank you for an uplifting and encouraging video. Love seeing the goats. I grew up with them and it brings back so many memories. All I can say to anyone who is struggling or lost is, get your heart right with the Savior. My husband and I are smack in the middle of a month’s job in Indiana padding our accounts. So I am not at our home and we won’t be back til the middle of January. I’ve been to the gym everyday here in the hotel, brought my own weights so I can lift in the comfort of our room, and I have brought a bunch of Mother Earth News magazines that I’ve not yet read. (My father in law buys us a subscription each year for Christmas 🥰) and I intend to use this time for reading, and working out. I have nothing else to do for two more weeks! Can’t wait to go back to Vermont.

Hi everyone. Hope everyone has a peaceful new year. I 'm still adding to the pantry. Picked up 3 different types of beans. Going to cook and dehydrate. More rice and canned meat. TP. I don't do any freezer stacking in case of grid down. We don't have any power backup so all my own canning or commercial cans. Found Ball jars at the Goodwill , no chips.😊 Discovered Classico sauce has a large 44oz jar of sauce, 2 more jars for a bonus. Happy prepping folks.

In my area (SC), Covid is raging again. My husband, my daughter, and myself all tested positive on Christmas Eve. Three days later, a son-in-law tested positive. Our holiday has been put on hold and we are still waiting. (Still testing POS) Today, my husband bought the last 2 test kits at Walgreens. We feel like we are back to 2019.
My family is dealing with this very unexpected situation as best we can, but we feel it’s only the beginning of a year of many more difficulties to come. Praying for patience and strength for us all in the days ahead.
As a retired educator, may I say that tests can be designed to achieve the outcomes / results one desires. Something to be considered.

We’re currently being terrorized by fireworks in my neighborhood 🤬 Even though they are illegal in the city limits. Our immediate neighbors are with us on staying home & safe. We don’t understand how people can just waste their $$ on fireworks?? We would rather spend $200 on food or silver .. than waste that money on obnoxious fireworks 🤨🙄🤷🏼♀️🤯
