Great video, but I want to remind everyone that in Christ, we do not live in a spirit of fear. God’s got this. Cast all you’re cares onto him. My hubby and I have been out of work for six months now. I have had dozens of interviews in my field and haven’t been able to land any of them. We truly are living by the Lord’s daily manna, and there is no greater joy than to be loved and supported by Him in this way. Find cheer this Christmas holiday, my friends. And let it that cheer sustain you throughout 2024. ✝️❤️

I never realized how valuable the time I spent with my Grandmother was - until now! She was born in 1911, lived 97 years, and endured some of the worst of our nation’s history. I’m prepared because she taught me by her frugal examples of being thrifty, and self sustainable! It was not “fun” to sit still and hand sew, cook from scratch, save everything for “a rainy day”…but NOW I’m grateful for those lessons!
When, I didn't appreciate my grandparents as much as I should have. I wished I'd spent more time with them. Listened to more stories! Absorbed more of their wisdom. I did love my grandpa's stories. He never met a stranger!

Patera, I'm crying with you this morning over what's happening to our country. I'm a senior who wants to leave California and move to SE Tennessee. I'm all alone and very scared right now. Please pray that I have the strength and courage to make this move. We are headed for uncharted waters, and I believe it's going to get VERY BAD IN AMERICA! I love you and watch your channel every day. I'm so proud of you and James and your American patriotism. So proud of everything you keep doing to try and wake Americans up! You CAN DO it. I am a female and deployed to Iraq with military for 3 months and to Afghanistan for 6 months all nearly age 50. It was difficult but I did it. Just get up and go and don't look back.
Prayers and best wishes on your cross country move! I want to move to a neighboring state this spring. My younger son and his wife already live there. Yesterday, I was offered a house to rent there, starting in May. That's a miracle! 🙏 I'm still nervous about the actual move and continuing to pray about the whole situation. I'm in my 60's.

A few days ago my 16 yr old daughter said “Momma, we better really enjoy this Christmas because we don’t know what next Christmas will look like.”
It was a bitter sweet moment. I’m thankful she’s awake but it hurts this mommas heart to know from here on out things will likely be very different from all the years before.
I pray God be with us all over the world and strengthen us, sustain us and help us feel joy and love in our hearts always. Heal us of our infirmities so we can withstand with even greater strength. In Jesus’ name I humbly ask. Amen 🙏

I "hit a wall" last night. I'd been doing so well, getting ready. I'm not sleeping. My children don't see what's coming. I've tried to open their ears. Listening to your words today,..I fell to my knees and had a good cry, ...asking God to lift me up on angels wings and to give me strength and courage. I know He will! I, too see his messengers in my life. Thank you for the realness you bring. For the support and encouragement.

Anyone who is capable of saying, publicly, they were wrong and apologizing is good folk in my book. People are starting to wake up. I've seen it in my own family. My sister, who used to say I was crazy and too passionate about the state of our nation and our freedoms, has asked me, "How did you know so many years ago?" I told her I listened to my gut and God. No one should be afraid, though. Everyone who is willing to let the scales fall from their eyes and allow themselves to see the truth also needs to realize God placed them here now to face the future that is set before us because God has faith in us. God could have put all of us in a time and place that was simple and easier, but, He didn't. He made us strong, smart, and reliant. Anyone who comes out the other side of this will be a force to be reckoned with. Just as our forefathers were. They gave us examples to live by. If you are awake, you can do this, no matter how long it takes. It may last the rest of our lives, but God knows we can do this, so you need to know that you can do this. Fear is evil's number one weapon. God did not give us a spirit of fear. Just hang on tight to His hand and let Him lead you through the fog.

Our dollar trees get real busy in Dec. cause everyone who participates in samaritans purse shoeboxes buy as many items as they can to stuff in a shoebox!

My daughters in college now, and I always told her to shop the weekly ads for groceries. So I had her go to Albertsons and pick up groceries for me, and she was like wow mom how you get all that for just $60 dollars. You gotta learn to shop smarter start by using the weekly ads. I had $190 worth of groceries, but end up only paying $60 something dollars. When things are on sale, you guys got to buy alot of it so you don't have to buy it when you need it and it cost alot more. I got my sister 80lb of sugar for $16. So when things are on sale, buy. Do that every week with new sales, the next thing you know you will have a month , 3 months, 6 months, 1 year of food put away.
I do the same! If the limit is two, get two, etc! Albertson's has some great sales.👍
I've never heard of Albertsons.
This is how we shop. Buy the limit of sale items we use. And keep an eye on the clearance/dented shelves. These things really add up over time.
@@deborahstrickland9845 I think Kroger just bought Albertson out. I don't have an Albertson near me, but my daughter goes to LSU and they have one near her. So when she comes home she will bring all the items I asked her to pick up for me. Mostly shelf stable food.

Our neighbor said the local Dollar Tree was stripped of the basics -soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair clips, etc -the kind of items put in stockings, care packages, donations for the homeless. We're in our late 70s & feel we're okay but are adjusting our budget to a lower level and making sure we keep all supplies at a level we're comfortable with. Thank you for keeping all of us informed

Morning y'all. I've been down this prepper rabbit hole for over a decade now. Just like people who say how they went bankrupt........it started slowly......until suddenly! Started with a trash can farraday cage.....5 Gallon buckets of various foods stored and sealed.....buying vacant property with no restrictions. Moving. Building everything I have with my own two hands. And if you ask.....
Yes.....EVERYTHING BY MYSELF! Im a plumber by trade. But been exposed and involved in every aspect of building. My cabin. Barn. Sheds. A cabin for my marine son. And storing lots of food. Hidden water storage. Can't explain what happened to me. Woke up one morning and it hit me likena ton of bricks. I'm as ready as can be!!!!! And I'm also in Tennessee. South East. Near chattanooga

One day I dropped 2 dead trees then started a bonfire. An eagle came from a nearby lake and soared high above, soared a circle around me, then headed away. Nature gives us what we need at the right time on occasion!

We also have many service members on bases. They are getting bombed continually, and the Senate won’t pull them out especially in Syria. Rand Paul tried to propose that they’re pulled out but of course the Senate voted to leaving them there because they don’t care. It’s not their children or grandchildren fighting. please say a prayer for those members in the desert on those bases in those horrible countries. They need our prayers as much as the IDF.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Hey Y’all💜 I appreciate you Patara and this community so much! I have a prayer request. My daughter AND my son in law have both lost their jobs in the last 3 weeks. I have had a sinking feeling in my gut since before Thxgiving and I’ve felt super emotional about the holidays too! Besides what I know about what’s going on in the world (I’ve been “awake” since way before the C situation was perpetrated upon the world) now I know I must have been sensing the jobs being lost by my precious daughter and SIL. I very much wish I could spend time with all of my children this Christmas. 2 of our adult children are estranged since 2020. My heart has been shattered into a million pieces ever since.💔 We love and miss them so much. This year I sent Christmas cards to them because I just wanted to let them know I’m still here. What they do with that is up to them. I pray for them every day. 🙏
I want everyone to know when you are at your low points keep strong. after farming for 50 years I was severly injured and lost all of my animals except for one. I can tell everyone after this small things are everything. The other day two of my outdoor cats came home. I cried for a long time. let the little things be your rock cause when you lose sometimes things you lost come back to you.

I was in the store this last wednesday..i filled my basket with 2 large ham hocks- limit 2 at .97c a pound. 10 rolls of grd beef with $3 off stickers..paid and put in truck and returned for rest of groceries.. (i shopp at 6 am) on my second check out i added 2 1/2 ham hocks- store limit and a very nice dressed gal said thats a lot of meat🤣, i responded with well since meat prices are going to get bad I need to stock up now. Top beef cuts just doubled and I need to feed my family..her response showed me she was clueless .😖I told her coming real soon a time when you won’t be able or wont want to go to the store.. again clueless….too many are still clueless
It won't be easy walking through hell to get to heaven. No matter how dark how down we find ourselves. All we must do is look up, and get up. Continue the journey no matter how hard it gets....... Merry Christmas to all of you guys.

When I started listening and interest rates started going up, it brought me out of my slumber. I started tightening my belt and crushed over $100,000 in debt. It is possible ... keep searching for savings and let go of the comfort items that aren't necessary.

Last night my husband and I watched a movie on Netflix called Leave the World Behind. That should be a wake up call for everyone.
I don’t have any streaming services so I won’t be able to watch it but I have heard quite it about it. I am definitely going to try and see it at someone’s house.
When I found you on here I found a person that is so like myself! I started preparing about 2 years before I found you! I have watched you ever since! You make me proud! You keep me going at 72 years old. Thank you!❤
Patara, everyday I wake up and Thank God that in 2018 we ventured into our journey to start getting ready. We had already searched out a small homestead way N.E. in Washington State. Most of our family and friends were and are all woke in various degrees. When I wake up I am glad everyday that we took a stand and praised God that Jesus made it possible to be Happy under His Law. Some family members are slowly waking up and like you said, I know they must be feeling scared, not to mention humbled and stand silent. We are here if any should want to join us and they know this. It's not about being wrong, it's about doing the next best thing! Hugs and prayers to you Patara and the rest of the clan here on you tube.

I'm feeling the same way u do this year. It was one of the toughest years we've ever had, I'm 60 years old. We've got to take joy in the little things. The younger ones having a rough time, the advice from our elders is priceless. The most important thing, our health, our togetherness within the family .Thank GOD for our faith❤
Preparing all I can, some people still think I'm putting up all my preps for no reason, my parents lived through the great depression. They always had food , medication, and other stuff put away when I was growing up. It is a lifestyle. What is coming will be worse than the 30's. I won't stop Preparing,and trying to get out of debt. I think you’re right. Many are hurting. We had a tornado Sunday. My concern is for those who don’t have $$ for deductibles and for damages that insurance won’t cover. And believe me insurance companies aren’t exactly sympathetic to those of us with damage.
Whats even sadder is that Ive seen "dumpster divers" get brand new items, clothing, toys, more from retail stores. That angers me, they would rather throw it away than donate it. 😢
So heart touching , I listened to the song, 'So this is Christmas', it made me cry, I know what I'm seeing...its truly going to be even worse, and YES, PRAY, and pray some more...I've been at the verge of tears for DAYS, it zaps my strength to see what's becoming of the nation's ppl that I love...THIS IS DELIBERATE damage 💔

When you told the story of the eagle, I cried! Wr are an ex military family. My husband, my vet, my best friend passed away in Sept from Lung cancer (we think from the burn pits in Iraq) at age 59. I miss our military life, and the bond that comes with it. We had a fighter jet fly over back and forth about 2 weeks ago. In the area we live you don't see fighter jets. Ever. I knew what was happening also. 2024 is not going to be a good year unfortunately. I believe those days are behind us. BUT GOD! I'm holding on to him like never before. We started "preping" in 2015 and do not regret a moment of it.

I am 69 and totally miss my Granny. She left us in 1988 at the age of 80. She was amazing. Her goal was to can over 700 jars every year to feed her family of 6 till the next harvest. I did not reach that mark this year. I think I have 450 jars. LOTS of chickens. meat and egg layers. Granddaddy raised pigs and share cropped on someone else's land. Largest Garden I have ever seen in my life. She never let anyone go hungry or be alone. She would sit at night with neighbors who were to sick to care for themselves. I learned so much from her. Trying to teach those same things to my grandchildren.
To the lady who misjudged. Well done for admitting your mistake,that's never easy..we all make em. What you do from now on in is what matters,for you and your family. It takes guts to publicly apologise and move forward.

I had to figure out what I've been feeling in my feeler and I realized it's not anxiousness, it's an urgency, to buckle up, be prepared, heart, body, mind and soul. The only reason that I am not totally terrified is because I am safe in the arms of Jesus! He promises to never leave us or forsake us. Revelation 3:10! But He also gives us wisdom to wait and occupy and prepare for however long it takes. If you believe in the Rapture, prepare for those left behind. If Jesus tarries, then prep and be wise like Joseph. If you want wisdom and true discernment like Patara, ask God and fear Him. He will give you Godly discernment. Patara , I truly appreciate telling and warning us. While listening to you in this vid , just came to my mind that eagle is our God letting us know that he is watching over his children 🥰. They all of this turmoil and all that is coming he got us and we will make it thru by his grace and strength . I’ve been busy putting food away in my pantry and also working over time here and there when I can to pay off debt, is hard but God is with me and I know that I can do this . My little family of 5 is my circle, I have been awake and stocking since before 2020, but have been also feeling so compelled to stock like never before and build my little 2 acre homestead like never before. We grow pigs, chickens, rabbits and huge gardens and 2 green houses, we have skills, but what happens when they face reality!!!!!!!! Praying everyday for God's Grace. Thank you for your videos, they get me through the day and make me feel so not alone.

Husband and I were buying groceries yesterday, you could feel the panic, uncertainty, fear; it ran through the store like an electric current.
People are tapped out, broke and scared. Could not get out of there fast enough because it makes me so sad, and so damn mad because the truth is, it does not have to be like this.
We have a nesting pair of gorgeous eagles beside the Kroger grocery store here in Powell on Emory Rd. I like the summertime because the leaves hide the nest and people tend to leave them alone when they can’t see them in or around their nest. But now they are in full view with the leaves gone. I live just 2 miles from them and I get the great honor to see one of them from time to time fly over my home. I get soooo excited when I see them. I get goose bumps and chills every time I see them.

I've been following you for years and rarely have disagreed with your moral compass direction. I'm day 5 into my knee replacement surgery and feel weighted down. There's so much we still need do to prepare.

Oh how I feel your pain hun I had my replacement august first and it’s taken a toll on me I had my first one done three years ago and had no problem recovering but this one was a dozzy still trying to get stronger. You take care of yourself first and don’t over do it you’ll heal. Walking is very helpful if you can go out to do that when you’re using your cane. That helps with gaining your endurance but it definitely takes time. Praying for your healing and happy holidays to you.❤🙏🇺🇸💪🏼

We saw five eagles hunting last spring when building the greenhouse. Saw one across the field a few weeks ago. They are so noble.
I have a friend with a network of friends who adopts a family for the holidays and does so much good work. This year we adopted a father (raising 4 kids alone) and they will have a great Christmas!! She also collected enough hygeine stuff and non-perishable food to make 50-80 bags for the homeless. Then collect ed coats, hats, gloves, sweaters and scarves for the homeless. Such a giving caring group if people!!😊❤

I am thanking you for being unashamed and speaking tough truths. The Lord moved me and my family almost 6 years ago to start homesteading and we listened and changed our lives. We learned and now I produce 95% of our own food and what we don't produce I can do without. Keep speaking, be that voice. I did not know about you when we made our choices but your videos have been a confirmation and encouragement to me.
I have a very liberal friend. She is one of my best friends. We had a Christmas party last night and ahe and i started talking about prepping, food storage, and the economy. We are right there in the SAME minset. Neither one of us knew that eachother are putting food up. We had a few disagreements in the past couple years that were hurtful to our friendship. Yesterday we pretty much agreed on everything. I did leave politics out, but i feel like we both know the reason for the hardships. We didn't need to speak about them anymore.
We've been seeing eagles here at our home and we never see them, I was doing dishes one day and this eagle came flying right at my kitchen window and went up over our house, in that moment I knew we were being sent a sign that freedom is ours!!

Sam's Club was very busy last night (Friday) in the part of Maine I live in. I didn’t notice what people had in their carts. I did notice all of the Christmas gift baskets were well stocked. I have my eyes on some of the food gift baskets, after Christmas they most likely be marked down. If I buy one it will be when they are reduced in price.

I remember my parents playing Scrabble together at the dining table on Saturday night. That was their date night. They only went out to eat on their wedding anniversary. Everything went to their kids and animals. All homemade food.
I just watched your video. I don't usually comment but watch them all and I want to thank you for the information you've shared. I'm still working at 71, not for the money, per say, but to keep busy. In the past 2 months, I took money from my different savings plans and paid my truck off and paid my house off. Whatever happens, I will survive. Two pantries stocked to the gills (husband thinks I'm nuts), I'm vegan (he's not), I'll be happy with my pantry items (him... not so much). I've been telling everyone I know to be prepared. I'm prepared in every area I need to be and am thankful for your information. ❤❤❤❤
My daughter had a freak out moment yesterday. She is 6 months pregnant. My son called while she and I were out together to tell us he was being sent home from work because he tested positive for covid. She immediately demanded that I get tested because I keep my other grandson alot. My son and I live together and my grandson had just spend the night. When I refused to get tested she started freaking out yelling I'm putting her and the baby in danger over conspiracy theories. Sadly she is one who got at least 2 of the shots. Sad times. She didn't have it in her to see that me getting tested wouldn't change anything because my son has already tested positive and her son was just with us.

Same here Patera. People are shopping Dollar Tree, Aldi, and Gabe’s this year. Thats what I did. I have always done that but so many are out of necessity.
I bought small ginger bread house kits from the Dollar Tree. My oldest is coming home this week. We are going to make those, play games, make homemade pizzas and cookies. I want them to enjoy being together like they did when they were little. My heart breaks for lots of my students at school. We need to stick together and just help each other. Thanks for your videos
Patara: I'm 30. As a child I felt the push of the spirit to prepare for everything under the sun. My siblings looked to me as another parent. My friends looked to me as another mom. Now I'm a mom and my own mother looks to me for advice.

I had the pleasure of watching an eagle teaching its eaglet how to fish several years ago at American Lake at Fort Lewis, Washington when I was there for Army training. What an awesome sight. 🦅🇺🇸

We had 3! Yes 3! BALD EAGLES in our yard 2 weeks ago! We were so drawn to them we couldn’t take our eyes off of them! Truely majestic and rare to see 3!
I was watching a homeless woman on a channel close to my age. Her husband died and she lost everything. Disabled and unable to work. I realized she was close to my age and that could have been me if not for the different choices I made. This hit me so hard for some reason. Some things are really scary. I am facing major surgery and it concerns me.

Patara I have been worrying a lot about the future: my business, our homestead, our retirement. Keeps me awake some nights. my wife is constantly preaching at me. God will take care of it. But we were watching the football game the other night the game paused without anybody hitting the remote and a random song played on my iPhone that I’ve never heard before. The message of the song was “ God will take care of it all”. The minute the song was over the game, unfroze and continue to play. my wife looked at me with that look that all husbands know & said “ do you know that was God he’s trying to tell you something”…… message, received loud and clear Lord.

I love the Dollar Tree! I was hit with Unemployment during the Obama years. I took every job available to me. I was only offered Contracted Jobs through an Employment agency for the entire Obama Administration. I was let go with 35 other people when a brother of a China Owned Company brought in when his brother passed away. We were replaced with his family members. I was able to save my home. However, It was the worst 8 years of my life. My faith in God got stronger! The day President Trump came down the escalator I knew God was working in my life like never before. I am a fighter! I agree with you, Patara; we need to reach out to people we wouldn't normally mix with. That's especially hard for me as I am not a people person. Bit of an introvert, really. But I think it is really important to connect with people that are not in our circle of thought and philosophy. How else do we connect with our neighborss, those who are politically not aligned with our ideals? How do we give good example and draw others closer to eternal truths? If each person who watches this channel would reach out to just two people that would be 1.5 million people whose lives would be blessed even in a small way this Christmas. Let's do this!
