@@Apotheosis.. keep in mind that these tests are in no way scientific, it's expected that I will improve in the scenarios all the time and that will be explained in the videos as well. In-game performance has a lot of variables, so when a reviewer talks about it, it's always full of variables and also placebo.
Great coverage brother 👊 we always appreciate the added measurement insight. Glad they stayed true to their advertised click latency. Luckily they are working on 4K so hopefully they'll tinker with the motion latency in the same firmware drop
@@hausgaming I think so, on their guide it says it's coming after launch. The receiver and MCU should be able to support it no problem from the looks of it
I absolutely love the idea of comparing Kovacs scores! Could be nice to have an average score and compare mice like that as well (in addition to click and motion latency)
Very nice, I'm even more looking forward to getting mine now! Pwnage has said that 4k compatibility is coming in a future update, so I'd think it'd perform even better with that. I bought the black one, so only $170 for me, but still pricey. That said, with the weight and shape it's still class leading, so you're going to get what you paid for.
Showing your kovaak's scores in the video is a really cool idea. You could do a limited number of tries on the mouse you are testing and then do the same amount of tries with your main/favourite mouse right afterwards. That way it'd be a bit more scientific. But no matter how you do it i think having kovaaks scores in a review is really cool and I haven't seen anyone else doing that.
I actually ordered the Stormbreaker I can't wait to get my hands on I have a few of those concerns you mentioned in the videos. I really wish for the price you pay for that mount to add Optical switches on the main buttons, and at least the side button will be a bit looser like the deathadder v3 pro.
I love the kovaak + cs test results. You should consider making a google doc spreadsheet to document all the mice and scores. Would be awesome to follow your progress and see which mouse you perform best with! I personally do a much smaller but similar test using Thin Aiming Long in kovaak with every mouse I get to screen for any odd behavior or mouse I completely underperform or overperform with. I'm so familiar with that specific kovaak scenario that I always find it helpful to run with a new mouse/mousepad to kinda see where I'm at and how much I've gotten used to a mouse.
@@hausgaming have you considered making a doc listing the motion and click latency of all the mice you’ve tested? That would be nice to make more specific comparisons between mice that people might be considering. Of course it would be a lot of work, so just a suggestion. Love your videos man!
Received mine yesterday. I can relate to what you're saying about the clicks not being so great for spamming, and also the sides. I still love that it's EC3/Model D- but lighter and wireless. Awesome product.
The clicks are indeed weird, I can't put my finger on what the problem is. I'm fairly certain it's the aggressive rebound of the trigger, but it's hard to say because the problems arise in-game, not when I'm actually spamming it when just testing on Windows etc
@@hausgaming I feel like the curvature of the buttons with the material is somehow mostly responsible to that feel. Also the benchmark thing you did is something I also do to give myself a "gaming performance" score on my ratings, so I think it's great at least for your own sake.
The Kovaak’s score comparison is a nice little fun touch, great idea 🫡 The mouse looks awesome but haven’t been the biggest ergo shape fan down the years. Awesome review Haus 🔥
Are the results of performance with your EC2 that you listed during your EC2 review the same or has firmware improved them? Just curious how the Stormbreaker specifically stacks up. I know the Zowie had way slower click latency
I have received mine on Wednesday, but unfortunately with the work I have not been able to test it much but I have also been forced to use grip tape, however on my hayate otsu the mouse feet of my mouse give me a sensation of perceiving steps as if it were not smooth
As someone pretty close to GM in Voltaic, I can definitely appreciate the aim training section; however, like you mentioned, its completely anecdotal and pretty much irrelevant. Not only can it be variance, but you also could have just gotten better. No way to know if you wouldn't have gotten the same or better score with another mouse. That said, its the first thing I do when I get a new mouse, to see how it feels. So does it matter? Yes, but it should not be really taken into account when reviewing the performance of a mouse. But you knew that already.
Indeed, it is the expectation that I will improve all the time, so I am expecting better results pretty much every week (not because of the mouse); I think the interesting thing will be how much I am improving percentually every week and per mouse. There are always interesting stats when you dig deep enough imo!
@@hausgaming I totally agree bro. And you're a good enough aimer to get a good grasp on what's variance or improvement, so I value your opinion on this
Not rounding the front edges is a mouse design I will never understand. I know Razer makes this mistake and I assume they think edges are a part of their branding at this point, but god do they suck for any relaxed grip. Also those massive holes are a sure way to push away a large group of people who might otherwise consider buying the mouse. I personally refuse to use any mouse that requires grip tape. thanks for the great reviews as always.
They can actually be very good for relaxed grips as I explained in the video! But of course, to each their own! I actually haven't heard of anyone mention having issues with a sharp corner who relax claws, it's just a solid pressure point compared to if the corner was all rounded!
WARNING: This company's customer service is bad. My mouse arrived broken and their support has had me in an infinite loop. They'll ask a question, I'll answer it and it will take them 3 days to respond where they'll basically ask the same question again, wanting more videos and more photos of the problem (the left MB doesn't click at all). We've been doing this for weeks now. Stay away from this company unless you enjoy throwing money away.
Eka video mitä oon koskaan kattonut sun kanavalta ja alun ja äänen perusteella en odottanut, että kameran takaa paljastuu tuommoinen komea partaveikko.
I had bought the pwnage ultra custom ergo (these names huh) and i initially liked it but it just didnt last long, it actually eventually just died and couldnt be charged or work, i just had to throw it out. I'm not sold on pwnage as a brand as of yet, this does seem like an improvement from their previous products but it just feels like they went for flashy over quality here, following finalmouse when they really shouldn't
179 bucks for a mouse with no software , only 20M clicks omron switches, no possibility to change the switches on the fly, and only 1 year of warranty HUGE L
i really like the idea of comparing the scores of your benchmarks in kovaaks with the testing mouse
Nah, it feels like a bad testing method. Their aim could have been improved and presented an inaccurate result. Maybe just me

Thanks for the review. Waiting on your video for the VGN dragonfly and NP-01sW
Coming soon!
is it shared somewhere how those performance numbers are obtained? I may have missed that video
Hey I have one question, which mouse has better overall sensor performance Pulsar X2 mini or Lamzu Atlantis mini. Im talking about 1khz performance
Both have the same exact performance
