    You did a good job explaining how it all works. It was easy to follow. Specifically though what about having reed valves is better then a piston port? It seems as though it would just be more fuel efficient, being that you wouldn't loose fuel in the blow back process.

    Great video could a bad Reed valve cause high rpm issues ? Our ktm 125 sounds crisp on short revs but if go to wot seems to have a miss of sorts our holeshots are impossible with whatever is going on with the bike

    Would not haveing the reed valve stoppers on cause starting problems?

    • @texas2strokes727
      @texas2strokes727  Год назад +1

      Yes it would. It would be bending at the end where mounted the most causing it to brake. A sharp bending point.
      The stopper also provides a smooth arch reducing stress in any particular area. insuring longevity and performance.

      Side note: boysen dual reed blocks will still have a bar style limiter much smaller but still there. I cant see what your working on. So hope this helps.

    Why do four stroke riders think their bikes rev to 13k rpm ? They top out between 6- 7k rpm ,that's why they always have a smaller rear sprocket then 2strokes because they have half the rev range then a 2stroke .
