Hello Dale! Great job on this dock. Hey I was wondering, are you ever required to have a permit to build a dock for customer? I read somewhere that it depends on the area. Just wondering if you might be able to share any exerience with this..?
Thank you Justin I really appreciate you watching the videos!. Oh yes we are permitted to death down here! Someplace as it takes almost over seven permits before you can get started and years of hard work! Do you have the Corps of Engineers department of environmental protection, The county that you’re working in or city. And sometimes homeowners association’s. So yes there’s a whole Lotta work if you’re getting these projects permitted
@@DaleWHickman Wow, no kiddin... that's a whole lot of permitting... Was considering getting out of my line of work which is engineering and starting very small with a steel bardge but was so uncertain with all the permitting trouble... you do great work...
@@DaleWHickman Thanks Dale, I have got to say, your online content is prob the best i have seen yet. Great channel! Covid, is just as ridiculous, probably more than permitting lol
@@justindc3124 well that’s quite a compliment I appreciate that very much. I try to include as much information as possible but not enough to train my competition LOL
@@DaleWHickman you could give a ball park price to give us an idea. I'm thinking anywhere from $20k to $60k depending on area and materials. Also, how does this deal with differentiating water level.
@@bobhartley4790 hey Bob if I remember Correctly this was in the area of $30-$45,000 really all depends on the amenities that were added to the job. Thanks for your question appreciate you watch in our channel 😂
