I thought I was the only person who had Pylon music videos! Cool to watch this, thanks David! I wrote my pylon song because of our outings pylon spotting and identifying, on our days out...🗼🗼🗼😊🎶
When I was a kid my short cut going home would be a route walking under a pylon, I have a weird fascination for these things but it scared me one time lightning strike on it the pylon and it's wires stayed ok just a flash and a loud bang.
I dont know why but when i was 8 or 9 i would walk to home and i would have to walk under a pylon everyday and it felt werid like what would happend if one the wires fell or like the metal on the wries came off and im still scared of them to this day.
I use to be scared as a kid to the point I would cry if I ever came near one. As a teen me and my brother messed around near some pylon's once (not climbed) and with my brother took me under one. Now I still think they're creepy, but thankfully I can manage walking/driving past them now, lol :)

I love the Dunstable Downs, it is a beautiful place. I used to be able to see Didcot power station from there. Pylons have been part of our culture for 100 years or so.

My 4 year old is obsessed with pylons and loved this video 😊
I am delighted to hear that :) I was around that age when I was interested in pylons. I called them 'Electric Giants'

Yes it is.
I live 10 minutes by car away from there..
The previous one looks like another local one to me.

That is an interesting comment. The immense weight of the wires is scary. I like the crackle when pylons get rained on.

Like if you know most of these are UK pylons
All of these were spotted in England and Wales.
