Agreed! Now that she's heard audio of basically everything besides TWTYW and Hey Ya, the music videos add a ton of context. Like with FFM - have no problem with the song on its own, but cannot watch the vid and song together without ugly sobbing. It adds an additional layer to the music.

Jaws easily could have been on Tomb, and it's wild to me that it came out even before Sundowning. It is such a nice show of what was to come with II and his drumming in the full album trilogy.
That “peculiar sound” from the synth comes back at the end in High Water. That’s why people assume he’s talking about the same relationship in this song as well.
Personally if I were to encourage any music video, it wouldn’t have been this one lol. I think Calcutta is much better. Or even The Love You Want. Idk who was saying the Jaws one was amazing lol
This song was my first experience of Sleep Token in the winter of 2018. I heard it by accident while decorating my son's bedroom (I had left RUclips on autoplay). Unfortunately, by the time I had finished, I'd forgotten both the group's and song's names! For ages afterwards, I had that synth line stuck in my head. A few months later, I came across The Offering and was not only blown away and instantly hooked, but I then rediscovered this song! Hopefully, you'll also react to The Way That You Were, which also has a video and their live performance of their cover of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah from From The Room Below concert. There is a good quality fan shot video available on RUclips! Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
Such a great song, I just love the composition of this one. There are plenty of lyrical call backs to Jaws as well in future songs, for example in Vore "Jaws of fate", in Take me back to eden "I don't know what's got it's teeth in me" and "Come now, bite through these wires"...even the US tour is called "Teeth of God" It seems Vessel has an obsession with the mouth!! 😂 Look forward to the next one 😁
Jaws was the second song I heard from ST after the offering had freshly come out.. and I knew this band was just gonna eventually blow up, they're just too good, very hard to have a favourite song from ST, but jaws is the one that I always go back to.. I always felt like there's something missing in music until I came across them

I'm curious to know what you think of him. The first ever album I heard was Cataclasm but currently I LOVE the Exuvium album, and his album Omniviolence as Antagonizer. That ones more intense compared to Cataclasm lol

One of my favorite Sleep Token tracks! Almost criminal they are this good! On a side note I think you would really dig Eidola's "The Architect" for the song flow and some of the outros alone. Amazing record.
