    Seine Erklärungen sind sehr schön nachvollziehbar.

      I agree. I used to like Scott Tubes, but he got promoted to a higher position in Roland and Ed Diaz took over. He is great, and as you stated explains things well and easy to understand.

    on the top of the display with the up button, I see PR-a, PR-b, PR-c and USER. I cannot hear these sounds, how do I load them. in addition, from the soundlist, which I printed out from the website I cannot get PR-d, PR-e and COMMON. please help, I wrote to Roland several days ago and still have not heard from them.

    • @Jason75913
      @Jason75913 2 месяца назад

      @@LarryJanca Those sound like preset banks. The big and colorful Category buttons let you navigate those much more readily. COMMON may be Scene settings or something. I don't have one of these to check for you, and no reason to go buy one for myself. I already have a Juno-DS, no reason to swap for the newer model that is 95% the same thing. Just a waste of time and money for me. The local music store where I could check this out closed down. The whole "Scene" workflow is much like the FA keyboards' "Performance" workflow, so FA tutorials may point you in the right direction if you get confused.

    Ed, can I get audio from my iPad through the Juno D also?

    • @Jason75913

      Of course, just get any 3.5mm audio adapter compatible with your iPad model. One with a cable as long as you may need, then the 3.5mm stereo plug goes into the "Aux" input on the back of the keyboard.

    How is it any different from the previous new Juno's? Kind of looks and sounds like same old same old as the previous modern Junos...

    • @Jason75913
      @Jason75913 29 дней назад

      It mostly is, it is in its features where it stands out, like the 8-part looping sequencer and per-part EQ and MFX, as a couple of examples.
      If that doesn't interest you but you want the better choice among entry-level pro workstation(-ish) keyboards, the older Juno-DS and Juno-Di will also do. The older Junos can also allow you to sequence up to 16 sounds using your computer or another keyboard with a traditional 16-part sequencer. Juno-Di will read MIDI files outright.
      It all varies.

    • @Jason75913
      @Jason75913 2 месяца назад

      @@wizardkings6375 if it is like most other Roland keyboards, you switch to the Scene you want to save first, then press Favorites, then press and hold the Category button you want to use to save the Scene until you get a notification on the screen telling you that the Scene is saved to the button you chose.
      Edit: once you fill up all the Category buttons and need more, use Bank to switch between the different groups of Favorites. After switching Banks, the Category buttons will now have no favorites and you repeat the process. Bank 1 is selected by default, so when you fill that up, switching back to Bank 1 makes the Category buttons recall the first set of Favorites you saved, Bank 2 for the second set, and so on.

    has anyone figured out if there is a performance mode like the DS where you can stack sounds (more than two in dual). Can you stack three sounds on right and still use a split bass on the left? I cant find any info on this. I'm starting to think performance mode is missing from this new keyboard. The DS was discontinued for this limited version. Not good!!..

    I can't fault the musicianship here - but the sounds are stale, a bit like a synth from 2000, and a vocoder is nothing new, so not sure why everyone is soooo excited.
    However, I will say that the price point is about right for a synth of this build quality.

      Yamaha is worse. The similarly-priced CK has a great interface but apart from piano and organ, the CK sounds are bottom-of-the-barrel junk samples from 1997. And there's no way to import better sounds. At least the Juno has some GOOD vintage sounds (like D-50 etc), and it has a large selection of 'better' sounds in general. Plus they throw you a bone and let you buy a couple generic sound packs from the Roland Cloud.
