Dimash is a genius! A great storyteller and paradigm breaker! Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” didn't bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing... The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. A story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The impeccable edition with precise cuts that complete the script, simple and extremely efficient effects and masterful performances: Dimash (the seductive and tormented vampire, Polina Guzieva (the passionate journalist), Manuel de Jesús Sánchez Sotolongo (the sinister butler) and the harem of soulless vampires (Angelin Sapozhnikova, Valeriya Lyasheva, Andreana Tkachenko, Maria Aristatarkhova, Lilia Kiser and Klinnyushina Alina), superb! The song is a show in itself: a mix of Blue, Scat, Jazz, R&B, Rock... Captivating variations: a bridge to the chorus full of strength and seduction and a beautiful chorus inspired by classic rock and the dexterity and agility of Dimash! In addition to the well-placed guitar solo performed by Abik Jeksen! The video captures and captivates from the beginning to the sign that we let pass by, still mesmerized by the “spell” of the vampire who manages to break the fourth wall! A giant, masterful, modern work that makes you want to watch it several times! 1000 out of 10! Hugs from a Brazilian!
Most of us were anticipating this MV with bated breath. Especially after hearing this song live in Hong Kong, or for me watching someone's live stream from Hong Kong. The butler's white contacts were cool but did you notice the blue contacts on Dimash? I like this song a lot, but I'm also excited for the next few releases that are planned. Dimash's style is forever evolving and I don't think he'll stop changing. Currently I think he's in a jazzy/blues type mood. And you reacted to the only song he's both written both the lyrics and music.... Omir. As for pop songs, he's written and sang those too. Give Me Your Love, Be With Me, Zhalyn, Lay Down.
Great reaction! Kitty decided to make an appearance especially for Dimash?😉 I think if you look at the songs Dimash has composed; this song, Story of One Sky, El amor en ti, Be With Me, etc, they all have different styles, but they all fit perfectly into "his style" - I think that one of the things Dimash really strives for is to NOT be labeled & pigeonholed, limited to a certain genre. But he puts his distinct trademark on everything he does, and especially everything he composes.
Lo mejor fue la aplicación de tu gato al final 😅, pero referente a Dimash esto es el comienzo de mucho que el hará de ahora en adelante EN TODOS LOS ESTILOS Y MUCHOS SE VAN A SORPRENDER
Very good reaction, especially when you said that in this song Dimash marked his path to follow, in other words, because he had composed it, and it is as if he were telling us I already found my way, it has many facets and with his ability vocal has shown that he can sing any genre, but specifically this one, a pop rock ballad, suits him very well and is super sensual as a vampire, that even though his character is dark, the lyrics denote warmth when falling in love with a human, and call her after his angel 😇🥰how more romantic than that... ❤️ and the best thing was that in this film a black cat was missing and it appeared behind you 😂😂I mean the scene was already completed. Very good 👏👏👏 greetings from Cuba 🇨🇺❤️
I truly believe that if Dimash and MJ were contemporaries people would be drawing distinctions between them. MJ never had the vocal prowess that Dimash demonstrates. Dimash can and would be singing circles around Micheal. You put it well to say that the visual story combined with the music created a perfectly balanced production. Thank you for your reaction. Most reactors love this although a few have been not as pleased because they love the earlier genres that he has done better. Let's allow ourselves to exband our own tastes to enjoy the entire musical ride.🎶✨🤯💖🙂
He is maturing and old enough now to where he does the type he wants to. I think he expected to do what he did in the past as to where he wouldn't insult his country or his older dears. Hon I'm 75 and I'm loving it. He acts like he's feeling free having fun.
Hi! I believe The flowers duet is a recording from 1915 and the presentation style seems taken from The Hammer Studio. They made pictures of horror in the sixties... A very good MV indeed... Dimash is so talented! He is brilliant in every style he did: ballades, folk, opera, pop. etc... You can choose one or other style... thats a question about each personal taste. And all is so good... In this particula song, acting, set up, musicians, technical staff etc... Really enjoyable! Regards from Buenos Aires...
I’m with you, this mv sounded more free, him letting loose and sounds like him, with a bit of everything just oozing out of his pores, and that’s just his vocals. His acting skills are crazy good. You worded it so well.
Great reaction, but I respectfully disagree with your opinion. Dimash would not like to be pegged down to one particular style. He is too multi- faceted and multi- talented just to do this style only. He composed and wrote many songs for example Unforgettable Day, the story of one sky, are a few to mention.
I agree with your comment about this song and Dimash being more in control and involved with his personal styles. Igor isn't there to guide him in a direction that wasn't Dimash's creation. He may be following a dream of his own now. I think we're going to be getting to know a totally different side to Dimash for the first time. I hope anyway. This is a great start if what we think is true. ❤
He has always followed his dream He has never wanted to be stuck with one genre or with the same sound in all of his songs. He wrote a song when he was in his own band called My Beauty. That song is more of a Kazakh pop song. He has written War and Peace, Omir, Unforgettable Day, Be With Me Story of One Sky, and more. His Mom and his dad have both said he only does what he wants to do, and he can be very stubborn about it. The songs written by Igor Krutoy were types of songs Dimash asked for, and Dimash had his hand in every one of them.
@@deannahodge99Wow. I never said you couldn't have your own opinion, and I wasn't rude with my comment. I just stated he has always been in control of what he sings and composes. His songs with Igor Krutoy have been collaborations between the two of them. He also considers Igor Krutoy to be a good friend. Everything he is doing has been his "dream."
Have you seen Dimash's music video "The Story of One Sky"? He wrote the storyline, composed the music, sings and acts in it. He put his heart in that one too; it is a heart-wrenching tour de force. But it is COMPLETELY different from this one. He has so many facets to his music--which reflects his complex personality.
Great to see you back with Dimash! Thanks for a terrific reaction. Dimash composed When I've Got You while he was in L.A. last year, and you can see his enthusiasm for the blues, gospel, and R &B. Hope he comes back for a concert before long!
This was a mixture of Dracula, Interview with a Vampire and Michael Jackson's Thriller. I loved the Gothic feel and all of the classic vampire tropes. Also, I don't know if you noticed that the journalist got more than she expected when she went to see him. If you look closely at her neck when she wakes up, you will see he did bite her.
Hi. I like and appreciate your reaction. Just a friendly word of caution - not to move in murky waters by even attempting to put Dimash into a box. The greater public may not take that very lightly. I hope you'll be safe. Take care.
I got the m.j. vibes as well with the hair and the outfit. Also his movements. But to me he looks better than m.j.also at the end when he holds the woman by the neck and looks at the camera he has a little smirk on his face. Lol that to me was sexy. But he's sexy anyway. Lol
Er hat schon immer das getan, was er wollte. Wenn man ihm folgt und seinen Katalog kennt, weiß man, daß er sich nicht auf ein Genre festlegen lässt. Das wird er auch in Zukunft zum Glück nicht tun😀
Also respectfully disagree. Dimash himself said many times that his genre is a crossover. So you have to keep an open mind. As a truly gifted artist he will continue to experiment in different styles. If he wanted to stick to opera he would accept that offer from Astana opera theatre that he receevived straight out of college. Thank you for lovely reaction though❤✌️

Dimash's style is to stay fresh and interesting. I'd categorize him as a genius musical chameleon.
Dimash is just having fun with this performance. He is a lot more than this. His singing skills are beyond belief. ❤this song so much! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Another masterpiece from our Dimash 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥He alredy composed 12 songs, not only this one.

You did not watch that much Dimash songs because Dimash has songs in a lot of music genres like pop, rock and rap.
Не ровняйте его с Майкло Джексоном,у него совсем другой стиль музыки.
The Michael Jackson comment was in reference to his appearance. Not voice. 😊
