    For those who may not know: when that little square light just beyond the end of the platform is flashing, it means your train has been delayed for one reason or another. A simultaneous public address announcement doesn't always confirm this fact--or at least that was what used to happen.

    J'avais jamais entendu le klaxon du métro. Je m'attendais pas à ça! Merci!

      C'est un petit klaxon comparé aux voitures MR-63s. On dirait une petite voiture, pas un train. :P

      As-tu uploadé un vidéo qui inclut le klaxon des MR-63?

      Normally, yes. They will soon be going to the Green Line though, with the arrival of the new Azur metro cars.

    How come when the metro does the switch it makes that noise in the tunnel and that light flashes on the cealling

    • @BenLomonRail
      @BenLomonRail  10 лет назад

      The sound is the train's horn, signalling that the train is not stopping for passengers. The flashing lights also signal the train is out of service.

    That signal didn't change to red after the train passed through.

    • @BenLomonRail

      Probably because the entire train hadn't passed over the switch at that point.

    They use the older MR-63's on the green line because of the higher chance of vandalism right? I can't see why they wouldn't use many 73's on the green if that weren't the case, cause obviously they can switch on to the tracks. I remember when I lived in Laval, when I would use the metro I might have seen like one MR-73 on the green line in my entire 15 years of living there, although I was mostly on the orange and blue line.

    How about some of you adventurous STM Metro DRIVERS mounting a camera in your cab to document an end-to-end Metro line trip--including the Youville Shops?
    C'mon, there are many of these documenting the Berlin U-Bahn on RUclips. Why should we be any different?
    The U-Bahn even offers fan trips like this tunnel tour!: karlandersson.se/2014/08/11/u-bahn-cabrio-in-berlin/

    I prefer more the MR-73 trains than those no good MR-63 trains because they're more higher than the MR-63 and I'm proud that those damn no good mr-63 trains are no longer in the Montreal metro tracks anymore.
