    I have tinnitus bc I blew out my ears with rock music. Concerts and headphones on full blast are ringing forever more in my mind. Yeah, it’s originating from the ear canal with its cilia type hairs vibrating in the wind. But, its sounds reverberate in my head. It changes frequency at times. Making it feel as tho I’m trying to tune into some alternate universe. Sometimes it’s a whooshing sensation that makes other sounds cut in and out. Like a beating heart. If you do suffer from tinnitus, keep your ears clean/clear of wax. I had to have a lavage recently to remove wax plugs from my right ear. Too much wax makes lotsa clicking noises and the equilibrium is affected by it. On top of the already ringing? Aaah! Keep em clean. I’m resigned to having this malady for the rest of my days here. Ya learn to live with it. Good luck to those seeking treatment and suffering from it. Ears 👂 to finding a cure….

    I have had constant tinnitus for over 45 years. It has recently become more bothersome, although taking magnesium has reduced the number of simultaneous noises and volume to varying degrees. Thinking about it and trying to come up with descriptions of the noises I hear always seems to turn it up. Common descriptions of buzzing, ringing, etc. just don't seem adequate. I've listened to several of the "masking sounds" that you and others have out on RUclips. All these seem to do is add another noise. Not sure what I'm supposed to make of it. Obviously, I'm an old coot, so I likely have some hearing loss. Not sure any of this would help at this point.

    Many of us use some sort of high quality bluetooth earbud these days, while driving, working, being alerted to texts, taking calls, listening to podcasts/music etc...
    Is the Widex speaker a similarly high quality speaker for listening to these inputs?
    If not, can they be used simultaneously with Apple airpods, etc?
    Also, is the device recommended for people with Hyperacusis? Thanks. 🙏🏻

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  7 месяцев назад +1

      Though Widex devices have bluetooth capability, the sound quality is not as profound as Apple Airpods or Bose headphones. Some people are ableto use their headphones over Widex devices, it really depends on the anatomy of your ear. Widex devices are a great option for those who have hyperacusis. I had ringing and hissing before this in both ears, so now I am miserable and close to crashing and losing it. I have mild to moderate hearing loss. I wonder if hearing aids prolong your tinnitus from slowly reducing in volume? Or should we just naturally learn to let the volume go down over time without them?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  2 месяца назад

      Hearing aids do not prolong tinnitus from reducing in volume. In fact, many people with hearing loss and tinnitus find there tinnitus is reduced shortly after using amplification.

      It's designed to deliver specific sound sequences and electrical stimulation to the tongue through a small device placed in the mouth. This combination of stimulation aims to help modulate neural activity and potentially reduce the perception of tinnitus. However, not many people have found tinnitus relief with it.

    Tinnitus is a complex problem . There are thousands of issues from a head injury to a impacted tooth to foods , loud music/ noise exposure. FOR ME HEARINGS AIDS DO ZERO FOR MY TINNITUS. TRYING NEOSENSORY DUO AND SO FAR NOT HELPING ME. MY TINNITUS LIKE HAS IT'S OWN MIND. TOTALLY UNPREDICTABLE. SLEEP MAKES IT WORSE. WHEN I WAKE UP THE TINNITUS IS RIGHT THERE GREETING ME IN HORROR!

      I bought a Neosensory buzz band last year and unhappy to say it does nothing for me. My tinnitus gets worse as I lose my hearing which is a genetic condition I got along with my high blood pressure. Even if the pharmaceutical companies could make a treatment drug to take like I take pills for my BP, that would be a great step for us. I think a single pill cure is decades or more away.

    I am new to doing any kind of research on Tinnitus, though I've been a sufferer for many years. If you'll allow a quick question...
    I read that Tinnitus isn't a function of audio sounds as much as it is phantom sounds created by the brain. But in my case, I can actually move my jaw in a sideways flex and actually increase the volume of the hiss I'm hearing. Doesn't this physiological aspect say that these are not 'phantom sounds'?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  7 месяцев назад
