The offensive designs aren’t there for a quick passing game outside of the lateral screens that never work. Getting rid of the ball quickly when nobody is open or ready will lead to just as many 3 and outs and will only take away his unique ability to create.

Caleb has a heisman trophy which means very little at this point the better quarterback has to ride the bench because he comes from a small college. The other quarterback is a better quarterback but they are too embarrassed to play him that would expose their mistake. The reason Caleb has good stats is because they are fourth quarter stats of him playing catch up football. Tyson is a better quarterback he knows how to move the team down the field. He just doesn't have a heisman. It's all politics it's a shame. They don't want to admit he's a rookie that should not be first string yet. He doesn't know what he's doing yet. Tyson does!

Chicago fans don’t deserve this horrible season. However, I’m so glad this crew have to discuss each of these pathetic games. We told you! Our team is incomplete. We needed draft picks. No QB could sustain behind this OL. Yet, this crew, particularly Adam, made justification about why we had to draft Caleb Williams. We were 7-9 last year. If we trade down, multiple times and pick up Joe Alt and Rome Odunze, plus add players like TVondre Sweat and a Jonah Ellis or Dominic Puni, with Justin Fields and Tyson Bagent, we make the playoffs this year. So thank you CHGO, we definitely have a franchise QB in Caleb Williams, but we had to endure the worst season in the franchise history to make it come true!

If Caleb actually is a franchise QB, then the bad season was worth it. Problem is, even with Caleb I have no faith in the organization to do what's necessary to fix the issues around him.
And then the fans need to realize that its unlikely that next season won't be a Super Bowl season either- a mess like this doesn't get cleaned up in a single off-season.

Loggains was fired by 3 teams in 5 years and now he is out of the NFL. Mahomes would look better but he wouldn't accomplished all of his current abilities in a BEARS jersey. Barring rare mismanagement a group of 53 NFL players is good enough. But they need to be coached well and if poss be given something to buy into. The Bears roster is no worse than Washington's or Green Bay's. Bad gameplans, bad game management and by the looks of things nonsexistent coaching, where they do those things well. That's the difference + a gun shy QB who is terrified of throwing picks and therefore takes endless sacks instead because he can't read defenses or set protections to get the ball out on time. He's the most off-schedule QB I've seen since Johnny Manziel. Possibly Dwayne Haskins. Everything is bad except the roster. Competent QB play and competent coaching and the Bears are a ten-win team.

What’s the upside to being a fan of this team? I’m in my mid 40’s. I really started watching a lot in 1992. 32 years and 7 playoff appearances. Owned by the Packers the whole time. I can honestly say that I don’t care anymore. They got me hooked one last time. I paid $430 to RUclips to see all of their games this season. I would have been happy with another 7-10 and the team looking like it was going to take a step next year into the playoffs. Now, it’s a fire everybody and start a rebuild moment, yet again. I don’t care. I’m done. I truly am. It’s like being in a toxic relationship where you keep hoping the other person will suddenly become better but they just are who they are. I’m not going to burn my bears gear. Boxing it up and throwing it in a dumpster. Not worth it anymore.

I’m taking it a step further. I’m done with this team. I’ve wasted 32 years watching them since I was a kid. Why? What’s the point? Packers are our rivals? They are 51-15 against the Bears since I started watching. Many of those defeats were embarrassing. It’s going to be 52-15.
Packers have taken Jordan Love who is not good. He really isn’t and are winning. A lot. Because of their system. Because of the organization. The best want to be there. Nobody wants to work for the Bears. Nobody wants to play for the Bears. It’s no better than having to go to the Browns. Nobody wants to be there. Why would I want to be a fan of a team that everyone sees as career suicide to be associated with? Pete Carroll wants to be there because he doesn’t have any other options and he convinced himself he can be a hero. That’s all you got.
I’m out. No more. I will still watch NFL. Just not have a team. If the Bears are on I’m turning it off. I don’t care if they made a Super Bowl run. F them for wasting my time all these years and me being dumb enough to watch.

I guess we will have to wait until next year to see if CW is a franchise quarterback. It’s crazy how Ryan Poles was drafted by the Bears as a Olineman and now he is a GM of the team that drafted him. You think this dude would’ve favored putting a good offensive line together first. He needs to start taking some advice in drafting players because he has only drafted a handful of players after 3 years or 4 that are ok players. The ownership has no clue on were this team is headed and that’s their number one problem. They are worried about building a stadium instead of putting a championship team in the stadium that’s ripping the fans off is exactly what that is.

What is it about Ben Johnson that says he could be a good HC let alone control the direction of the entire franchise?

I'm not sure Caleb will be better, I don't think Fields was THE problem, and I still think it was better to draft a QB first overall in that position than to wait and eventually have to pay Fields. You can argue whether it should have been Caleb, but THE problem is the entire organization is a dumpster fire from owner on down, so it wouldn't have mattered who they drafted.

Caleb has a boatload of talent. The issue is the offensive coordinator. … Caleb is clearly trying to do too much. They should’ve brought him along. slowly started him off reading only half the field, moving him around in the pocket and going max protect . When young quarterbacks take a beating you can ruin them. The Bears are in danger of ruining Caleb Williams.
