The trash talk is for a show, and it also serves as a purpose to push himself harder in the future, something Punk has been doing all the time.
4. There is still a SFL World Championship waiting for him soon. He has no time to rest or celebrate, get to train harder and live up the expectation of his teammates, team captain, and fans.
And there are something unrelated to SFL, mostly about his livestreams so I don’t bother to translate. Basically just saying he had been hated since the “nervous” week being aired and he feels relieved that the hate train is finally become the past along with the playoff.
After last capcom cup when MenaRD won, Punk was gassing Mena up how they are friends. Punk be switching up so much lol
Exactly now Angrybird is his new BF since when lol
He is friend with everyone shutting his big mouth
Exactly the same with Mr Crimson. He talked mad trash, and when Crimson freed him 3 times in a row (even with his sub character) all of a sudden they're "friends"
That's the very definition of a classless bully : strong against weaks but weak against strongs.
Mena's reaction at 16:00, he's like "no he didn't just say that 😬", lmao 😆
The purpose of having a money match is to add the element of pressure to the match and see who comes out on top in that situation. No Punk-Xiao Hai money match will be as important as what just happened. Punk can cope and seethe all he wants. Talk shit get clipped.
Lol now lets see Punk try take a set from Xiao at any Kof
Aint gonna happen lol.
Lmao not in a million years. All in good fun at the end of the day but Xiaohai is a beast.
Xiaohai would beat him with one hand 😂
Punk can't even win in his own game let alone another one. The community needs to stop hyping Punk as much as it does he's literally a loser being put in the same boat as the winners it makes zero sense
@@thekid8224punk is the next sonicfox but doesn't fuck dogs. All the sponsorships, all the big pot tourneys seeded in his favor, but folds like paper the second real competition shows up
imagine a guy who mains another game beats you in your game man id be pissed
Wow he won 1 set. How many sets Punk beat him tho? Yea ok
@@unchaineddemigod794he won the set that mattered
@@unchaineddemigod794 What's more embarassing? Losing to someone who mains the game for years when its your side game, or losing to someone who plays your game part-time? Im sure even with all your coping you can figure that out.
@@YanDaMan263 part time? He’s been playing since it released just like sf 4 and 5
@@unchaineddemigod794 You're not full timing a game if you're playing multiple games at once. Thats literally what part time means. He will always be first and foremost a KOF player. That's his main game.
Punk makes moments. People don't see that still. ❤
Shoutout to Xaiohai for proving Punk wrong. You love to see it.
FGC is still alive and well. Stay sucker free baby! 💪🏿
Punk is forever a bridesmaid. Lol
Xiaohai got the last laugh this time
Xiao didnt meant "not good" he meant "Punk isnt too good that he cant be beaten"
Punk getting humbled will always be entertaining to watch. He just brings it upon himself with his crazy childish antics lol
Also, I swear Punk is still salty at Chris T for the whole cracked beta SF6 thing. They did NOT have beef prior to that. And saying all that garbage about not being relevant in Street Fighter history? Chris T was a straight up legend during the SF4 era. Notable wins over pretty much everyone back in those days. I would say I hope that he starts to mature but honestly, watching him get served humble pie from literally everyone he talks shit to will always be funny.
I rate punk highly but when it matters the most he just dont show up
That's why Xiaohai said he is always the second.
Punk was just talking shit about xiaohai who appeared to be one of top legend players.
This channel should definitely have more than 57k subscribers. This man should at least be over 100k easy. Shout out to the Button Check community. I always enjoy these videos. Salute🫡🥷🏿👊🏾
I like the Easter Egg at 14:42 where Ernesto does his best tribute to James Chen circa Evo, by shedding some tears himself. Truly, a man of the community.
If punk ran sets as good as he did his mouth he might have won an evo by now or you know beat the people he calls bots or free
Trash talk is fun but I feel Punk takes it a bit too far and personal which isn't helped by the fact that he has a storied history of choking when it counts. I'm a fan of him but he needs to slow his roll a bit; that or back it up more consistently lol.
i must apologize to xiaohai, i was not familiar with his game
If only punk could do the same.
I love how you summarized the matches 💖✨ And Xiaohai deserved that win and to talk some sh1t back as well 🔥🤣
Punk is so unlikable, he talks like hes tough but hes soft asf . 😂 He would never talk crazy like he does in any other setting
he keeps it all in the game, no need to get all emotional about it.
@@knight-maresExcept when he tweets a barrage of salt, makes it way too personal, or insults TOs after taking an L with mad excuses. Dude almost got DQ'd from CPT West for losing to Alex Myers and hopping on the tourney Discord to get emotional and angry about it with name-calling and crying.
@@citypopradioFM emotional about the game or a game's tournament is understandable for someone who makes a living off competition within the scene. If you ever think he gets personal, ask yourself, is he criticizing their skill within game? Because that's usually the case.
@@knight-mareslol everyone defending punk thinks everyone who dislikes him is a crybaby when we all just think he's the sad and annoying crybaby 😂
@@knight-maresno usually he just cries
Punk has to hold that L. He talked mad shit. But to tell you the truth, as much as I love punk he has a tendency to choke. He is the king of second place (though he still may be the best in the world).
"the best in the world" 😂😂😂😂😂
@@CamusSC😂😂😂😂😂 I know right
No punk is not the best in the world if he was he would win at least once. The fact a kof player beat him at his own game is super embarrassing
"Best in the world" with zero championships under his belt lolol
@@bsk1988 He has 3 first place finishes, 5 second place finishes, and 4 third place finishes in SF6. There are only 3-4 players that can compete with that. And he does that in one of the two toughest regions at that.
The SF pro-league finals US vs EU vs Japan is gonna be fire.
This video has more views at this moment more than the active viewership of the event itself, a testament to Button Check!!!
I love punk but I'm glad Xiaohai got the last laugh, punk took what Xiaohai said way too seriously and made a bigger issue out of what was meant to be a light hearted joke.
That SFL finals was so insane it needs to be committed to the asylum! Pure gold! Im watchin it again tonite!
When punk jabbed into hooligan instead of a super i knew it was over.
This was an insane event! And great video recapping it! You’re the best.
Punk deserved it. He isn't the best and never was. The dude cracks so easy under pressure when things start to go bad. Not the first time he shits on someone and gets schooled after either lol. He's a great player but not consistent, is way over hyped, and has way too much of an ego he can't back up.
Awesome for the team that won. They deserved it. Good stuff.
I love the fact that Ernesto leaves the bloopers in the final product lmfao
My man got his get back let's fucking goooooo!!!
So happy Bandits won, been a big fan of Mena ever since he hit the scene. Also glad Xiaohai got his revenge, you love to see it.
He told the truth too, Punk always comes in 2nd when it matters and turns into a crybaby. People need to see him for what he is and stop acting like he's the best when he clearly isn't.
Its so funny to me how Even after so much shit talk and build up to get to have his revenge and his moment XIaohai was so polite and respectful lmao its almost awkward but it was awesome those moments when they happen in Fighting games it feels amazing. Shout outs to both teams and congrats to Bandits they did their best and the matches were great.
'Couldn't look away from the train wreck.'
I always love when Punk gets so close to victory only to lose and look like a fool after talking all that shit. Be ready for the twitter salt from Punk's page later. EDIT: LMAO I POSTED THIS BEFORE I SAW THE FINAL PART 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Xiaohai got a lot to say if it wasn't language barrier ... 🤣 you could tell by his body language and they way he was trying to get it all out 🤣
I wish Xiaohai was fluent in English because his popoffs would be legendary.
@@bsk1988 he was in the moment
Yea, i knew he had so much to say, but just couldnt because he didnt know the words. He got the most important part out though 🤣
Great Vid as always. But DAMN! Those Matches were NAIL BITTERS!
I remember Punk used to tea bag xiao hai like crazy in SFV. Glad dude finally got some get back
Three things
1) I'm happy to see Chris T getting the love he deserves after all the hard work he's been putting in
2) Mena is a beast and you cannot convince me otherwise!
3) I love Punk and he's a very talented player but damn karma came full circle and bit him on the ass for talking that shit 🤣🤣
Waiting for the next button check when Punk tweets that SF6 is so scrubby
Nephew almost got a free ride to SFL championship 😂
Kinda feel bad for him ngl. I’m sure he wanted more chance to play.
@@larryfocus yeah but honestly he's not at the level to compete against top players there. Punk calling Xiao Hai trash is like calling Nephew way worse than trash
xiaohai saying he the second best 😂😂😂 I wanna see where this goes. Also why did punk call out chris t he didn’t even say anything
They seem to have a history judging by that tweet. Dudes salty he list to both Chris and Xiaohai lol
Punk isn't in a position to call anyone out he surrounded by actual champions.
He actually beat Punk with Ken before online.
Best SFL finals ever
can you make videos explaining who has made it into the million dollar tournament, im sure many of us have no clue how it works and who has made it so far.
Any pop off against punk is well deserved learn humility punk and hold that L
Great job with the commentary bruh
Xiaohai lost the first few games to Punk in China forum, especially the one that said "r u nervous".Xiaohai was attacked by a large number of Chinese blackpink, who accused Xiaohai of only going abroad to compete disgracefully. For nearly three months Xiaohai was subjected to a lot of abuse and vilification.Because all players participating in the SFL have signed confidentiality agreements, they cannot disclose the results of the game.So Xiaohai endured nearly three months of blackface abuse and various malicious clips.😢
Even though Xiaohai has won three Evo titles on the Kof program, there is still a lot of black powder to question the level of his fighting game. The other day, oil king also talked about in the live broadcast of so many players in mainland China, Xiaohai's live broadcast is the craziest, because just a sentence "r u nervous" he was scolded for three months.
Let’s just say both got the backlash they deserved then. Should have just stayed quiet and play
Yikes. China sounds like it has a rough crowd! Sometimes we forget that something that isn't serious in our culture may be viewed differently in another. In Punk's case he has a history of being rude and for whining when he loses, so that's why Americans are hard on him. What Xiaohai did seemed pretty minor. It was nothing that deserved scolding.
@@smoothsavage2870 China has this weird obsession with maintaining a "good image" because they love to flex and look good to others. Its why Chinese parents always tries to mold their kids into trophies for the sole sake of flexing to their peers, along the whole "you bring dishonor to family" joke/meme which has a lot of truth to it. Xiaohai pretty much made China "look bad" by losing after his "trash talk" if you can even call it that. It sounds really absurd but thats how they are.
Xiahai win was so damn satisfying and hype!!! Talk THAT SHIT my boy!!!
That's why you gotta love Punk, he takes things really personally puts his heart on his sleeve, and leaves himself open to falling on his face! lol
This vid was sooo entertaining with your editing & commentating! Keep up the great work!

I'd think twice before trash talking the best KOF player of all time on camera... Btw Mena read Angry Brid like a book in that last round.
When Caba loses, everyone wins, an angel gets its wings and a child smiles
KOF arguably takes more skill than sf. So his skills translate well.

What was that tweet by Punk about? Did I miss something? Did Chris T talk trash to or about Punk after he beat him?
Punk said Christ T would never ever beat him in a tournament setting in SF and it happened. Now hes coping with tweets as usual.
