- Le Jardin Majorelle (Majorelle Garden) is artist's botanical and landscape garden in Marrakech, Morocco. It was designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s/30s and acquired in the 1980 by Yves Saint-Laurent, to prevent the conversion of the garden to hotel. Yves Saint Laurent was quoted to say that he was able to find an unlimited source of inspiration because of the Jardin Majorelle.
Recorded June 2014 in 4K (Ultra HD) with Sony AX100.

I wonder if this garden has managed to survive the earthquake. It’s sumptuously gorgeous. Such vibrant colors and beautifully designed.
Yes it did survived the earthquake in fact marrakech wasn't effected that much don't believe the media , the main place that was destroyed so much was al houwz region in the atlas mountains, its 50 km far from marrakesh so don't hesitate to visite it

I had been, me, myself, decades ago; my hubby and I went, 'cause I wished to share with him after 33 yrs of remembrance. 2 and a half hour wait. I said Eff it (we were walking); so we did, to Cafe Renaissance, on the roof; had a couple of drinks; back to the Medina in Marrakech, as in Fes, the young people saying may I show you the way? I reply, espiegle that I am: how much would you pay me to show you the way to wherever I'm going? They smiled and lest us to roam on our own.;}}}ko

The garden is created by french artist, it is a botanical garden, with species from other countries, not only Morocco. Regarding the blue color shade used, it has been named to the artist.
The garden is not truly Moroccan (even though it borrows, as expected, from the Moroccan culture), but nevertheless is considered one of the beautiful places to visit in Morocco, and in my experience I completely agree with this.
