Nice job on that carpet. That 175 is cool too and the price is just right for some of us just getting started. Thanks for the content and sharing your knowledge.
Great content. Quick question: I just bought 2 of those black brushes for agitating. Are they too rough for any carpets? Could it damage them? And didnt you say I can use it outside on concrete to soften the brush? Thanks!
I’m glad I found your vlog. It was both inspiring and informative. I completely new to carpet cleaning. I’m definitely going to do this. Would really want to understand 3 things: what kind of solutions and how to mix it. How much do I charge as a new beginner base on size or rooms etc.. and licenses and insurance. Thank you..
Thanks for the vids. They are helping me a lot. How does this machine compare to the oreck orbiter? It looks like this is still an orbital machine, is it just bigger? I’m weighing my options for my next purchase.
Its bigger and spins the orbitor kind of does a orbiting motion. Both machines are good but if I were you id get the tripple s first then get orbitor. With both tools you can do all situations for VLM. Just my opinion. I use my orbitor alot for pre scrubbing and cleaning small areas and stairs.
Green Rhino carpet cleaning . Maybe a dumb question but if I were to get the bigger triple s first how do I take care of the smaller areas like stairs and such?
Yeah the two main things that I hear nobody ever talk about is licensing and insurance. I asked a couple people about insurance but not licensing. There are a few of them out there that don't have advertised vans they just use their own personal or unadvertised vehicle but do It full time. So the question to that is do you still need to be licensed if you're that small

The only thing I am considering, whether heated water extract or VLM is some kind of mask for prespray... I don't like breathing in cleaning chemical vapors and I've heard others who have been in the business long term complain about it affecting their lungs and chem sensitivity too. I noticed you breathing heavy from time to time, maybe your lungs need a break from the vapors?
@@greenrhinoproject I have been looking at your videos ( great work by the way ) and comparing to what I can possibly get here in New Zealand. you guys n gals in America have it easy to find stuff. I think I may have found a secondhand buffer, now just need to find out if I can get cleaning pads / Bonnets. not as straight forward as if I were in America I can tell you.
Why is your hot water extraction taking 3-5 hrs? Correct wand, high CFM and high suction 12kpa+ with 2 rinse passes and 2 dry passes and it should be dry in an hour or so. Add in some dry pods and it's dry before I have my stuff packed!
Even if that is possible I wouldn't tell customer that. If it doesn't you may get complaints. Tell em 5 if it dry's in an hour they will be extra happy.

No need for dwell time with encapsulated cleaning, you don’t want it to dry cuz that’s a problem

No

Much appreciated. Could you make a video on what licensing you need?
I will but in short you dont need any special license. Just a regular business license from your city. Cleaners do not need contractors license.

Do you use anything with your carpet details cause I? Notice. It doesn't have any sent to it.
How do you write out you invoice? Hand written or do you type, print and mail/email?
How often do you clean a house with furniture? Are you expected to move it while cleaning?
Very often and no I ask customers to move everywhere they want cleaned . I go around any large or valuable stuff.
I owned a carpet cleaning business for years and most people do expect to have their furniture moved, cleaned under and put back.
