I have a herniated disc from May of 2016, and have had every therapy plus one injection...no surgery. I've had no improvement and now my doctor wants to send me to an orthopedic chiropractor, but says he doesn't think there's much more to do. Should I be pushing for more injections or even surgery or just plan on being in pain the rest of my life? I am 43 (42 at time of injury). Also my employer eliminated my position 3 months after my injury, but my lawyer says they can do that without recourse?
