Workers Compensation is a monopolistic industry and is tilted more towards employers and insurance companies than the injured worker. These draconian rules treat the injured worker as if it's their fault and want them off the insurance and back to work regardless of their ongoing injury. Mostly every company has to pay for workers comp benefits and should have no issues with monetary costs associated with the average injured worker. Most companies never have any serious claims yet having paid into the system for decades. There is no good reason a injured worker only recieves 66% of their pay, should be 100% with their benefits, wasn't the person's fault in some cases, they have contingencies for everything else but not for the most important. Pain in suffering for the severely injured and better metrics for loss of function and limbs. I get minor injuries and injuries that can't be substantiated by any certified physician. Workers really got a raw deal on a system that is constantly being greased regardless of the market or current affairs. Once again big business and money wins over nobility.
