@@yorkqueerI’d be with you, but Lynn has already proven he can turn around a defense. UCLA went from ranked 90’s in defense in 2022 to top 10 in 2023. If SC can have even a top 30 ranked defense that’ll make a huge difference.

@@tbyrdsr313 Penn state is better this year. Defense is better. Nicholas singleton is healthy. They hired a new offensive coordinator and most importantly Allar has more experience. They will be better. I’m not the biggest James Franklin guy though. He’s good not great

USC will go 8-4 at best and most likely will go 7-5 and the only thing that’ll save Lincoln Riley is it’ll be the first year in the big 10
They have 4 tough games on their schedule -
LSU / MICH / Penn State / Notre Dame
They can definitely beat all 4 of those teams if the defense is anything better than last year. I think 7-8 wins is their floor. Anything less than that will cost Lincoln his job
USC’s record thisnyear will rest solely on the defensive production. I think 8-4 is about right. If they have a solid defense I can see a ceiling of 10-2

They will lose to Nebraska. Can already sense it. Certain games I get a super strong feel about and I've been stunningly accurate. Unfortunately it's only a few games a year.

Penn State is gonna get bailed out by the 12 team playoffs because they aren’t elite but sneak in with 3 losses. They’ll also get bailed out with no divisions. PSU, ND and a potential overrated SEC team will get in annually. to win a championship you gotta beat the best, and they are 3-17 vs top 10 ranked opponents since 2014. top 10 is basically top 12 of the expanded CFP.
These aren’t the old finesse Oregon Ducks. Dan Lanning has changed the perception of how that team is perceived

All of these teams were always physical. Football is football. You don't play if you're soft. The SEC has had an advantage because of the population density of black Americans in their region. That's it, and that's all.
Most CFB fans are southerners who never bother to watch any team outside of their coveted region. Thus they dont know when teams change. It’s like people who hear one song and assume that the artist only makes songs like the one they heard

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand why Alex Greenwich was not fired along time ago. He should’ve never been able to follow Lincoln Riley to USC. I will never understand why he was not fired after a few years unless he begged him to keep his job and they were really close friends. When he was co-defensive coordinator at Ohio State I wasn’t impressed back in 2018.

12 team playoff is too much. It has gone from 14 games up to 17 in becoming a national championship. Easy solution would be 6 team playoff, 6 conferences with 20 teams in each conference and the conference champion makes the playoff

Michigan is incredible inside, but once you factor in the DEs, OSU is better overall. Tyleik Williams was named preseason first team DT along with Graham and Sawyer and Tuimoloau are both better than any DE on Michigan’s roster.

Guys…We’ve been saying this regarding Lincoln Riley’s defense for SEVEN years. My goodness.
Yes and he had Grinch for almost every single one of those years. This will be the first year he has a shot… all his fault he kept that guy 5 years too long, but this year the team has a shot to be better on defense. Issue hasn’t been talent. What IS amazing is that Riley has had this much success and 3 CFB appearances with the worst DC to ever grace CFB.

Miller Moss obv isnt what caleb is running the ball but he looks to be another elite passer for lincoln riley to run the offense. And Zachariah Branch has Tavon Austin Desean Jackson Ted Ginn level upside. Coming from a UCLA fan 7.5 wins is too low

We keep hearing that Oregon is so tough up front but I watched them play Washington twice and the couldn’t push them around at all. Then I watched Michigan play Washington and it looked like men vs boys on both sides of the ball. Needless to say, I’m far from sold on the toughness and physicality of Oregon but we’ll see.

The problem with Ohio St. defense is they are soft and get gassed by the end of the game. Michigan had no trouble with that line once they loosened them up with a little passing.

You don't know what Oregon is at QB? Dillion Gabriel has been playing since 2019! This will be his 6th year starting. He's near all-time records across the board in almost every category.
Ohio State is going to find out what Oregon did when Chip Kelly was their coach. Chip commits so heavily to the run that it is detrimental to his team. He’s so stubborn about running the ball that he’s willing to risk losing the game by pounding the ball on 3rd and long. Oregon lost some games under Kelly because of that stubbornness. Hopefully he’s grown and learned over the years.
Pennstate will get railed this year. Not an elite team. Terrible coaching and mid players would get mauled by any team in the SEC and the big boys in the big ten
