Congratulations Tom! you made it to half a million subscribers! very happy for you. Thank you for your efforts. Look forward to getting to one million. I am convinced that it will happen in some time. Thank you for your efforts.
I was expecting Adam to come trundling through your first composition underneath the arch of branches. Guess I've been watching Gavin's channel too much. Fabulous images Thomas as always.
More great content!! You just might have to put out a cookbook next! You know how to cook up some amazing looking meals on that little stove and griddle!!!!!👍👍👍👍
Love this. 1. I live in the Scottish Highlands and laughed when you drove 2 miles and the weather was different. Yep that's classic Highlands for you. 2. Glen Affric is just stunning. All year round. Just bring insect repellant. 3. Torridon is epic 4. I recommend Glen Orchy and Sma' Glen too. Lesser known Glens compared to Affric and Coe but well worth a visit for moody weather mountains and forests.
I went through that same pointless gate and sat under that copse of trees in the summer. It's a lovely 5 mile loop from the road. So many fabulous views. The loch is ringed with water lilies in the summer. Loved these images. I'm waiting for the kids to grow up so I can get out in the autumn months.
When the highlands get that wet I usually head for the coast. Big seas, rocks and bays with islands... Not to mention river mouths and fishing boats galore.
Even if your photography did not go to plan your cooking was certainly better than Adams at least it was proper food! Your pano of the tree's was wonderful. Thank you!
Great video Thomas. The Scottish weather sure brings some nice treats. The rain intensifies colours, and a surprise pop of sun can be such magic. My dad used to say to me " theres always sun round the corner lassie" he was nearly always right 👍 lm enjoying the trip, looking forward to the next video..... Alioban
You always deliver the most stunning images from difficult situations. And the content and flow of your videos is in a different league to the other landscape pros.
I watched you walk up to that gate carefully open walk through and close it, al the while I’m thinking to myself there’s no fence. Then I almost spit my coffee out as you ran back around it to grab the camera. Then what about 30 seconds later you made me wonder if Gavin was perhaps hiding off frame instead of Adam. But let’s not forget the great images. Image 1 didn’t work for me I think it was just to busy, image 2 very nice but image 3 I loved the pano!
It came to a point where i look forward to your next episode on wednesdays mate, you should considered putting two episodes on a weekly basis, i know it could be frustrating, but we would love you even more
Hi Thomas love the show 🏴🇬🇧👍I've noticed you wiping the rain off your gear I would recommend a spunj product it's a bit like a chamois leather great for soaking water up they sell them in aldi regards Cliff 😀
As always a Great video with some fab images. B roll clip of walking through the gate then running back around it to get camera made me laugh as can so relate to that. Look forward to next instalment 👍
Great Video, 03:20 wonderful colour (out of focus) and structure (in focus) 09:15 love the colour and the mist in the background, the lighting is perfect 17:30 Wonderful Pano, thanks for sharing
I'm a wildlife photographer and not got a creative bone in my body nor a good eye for a beautiful scene, so admire people like you who can spot and make stunning shots like the ones you showed in this video. All three, really lovely. The whole video was very watchable too! Enjoyed it very much.
Hi, Thomas. I am very happy and excited to see your channel in bilibili. Your video aliways gives me relaxation and enjoyment. Hope you keep updating, haha. And I wish we can buy your calendar or books more conveniently in China.
I'd take anything coming in my face if I was capturing stunning shots like those. ;) Some of my favourite captures Thomas!! Can't wait for the next episode!!
I was expecting a comment about the ‘gate’, but you visually dealt with it far better. It sure beats the rain coming in your face!! 😉😉 You’ve obviously been taking comedy tips from your mate, Gavin Hardcastle. @fototripper Enjoyed this one. Thanks.
Aah. This year's comedy film. The gate scene and cheeky look to camera made me laugh. Great images too. I have a huge weakness for a panorama. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Great to see Adam reunited with his fugi :-) that light at 9 mins was sublime and the image you captured stunning !! Tough conditions Pal but I do think you made the most of it for sure !! Looking forward to next weeks video already
3 damm fine images Thomas, the colours in each of them were wonderful. Got a feeling the Scottish weather is going to be a reoccurring factor in this trip but you have shown already how to work within those conditions and create great images
That second glance you gave us at the 12:30 mark had me LOL’ing!!! Little bit of humor now and then never hurt anyone :)
ahaha, i just realized that
Tom - your videos are food for the soul. That first still image - gorgeous! And that gate scene: pisser! Loved it. 👍🦘😄🇦🇺
Fantastic for deaf people . Makes you realise the world they live in and the world we take for granted
Love the pano at @13:08. Perfectly suited for that aspect ratio.
I don’t want to put a time marker on the crude, yet sophisticated, humor. It was perfect! I’m surprised there aren’t more comments.
That one liner with the expression on your face was hilarious. Thanks for not editing it out. Beautiful photos to.
The gate scene 😂
Love the shot of the large tree in the mist.
"Well hello everybody....." Nice tribute to Adam.
11:38 made me almost choke on my morning coffee. Top notch
11:46, loved it :D
The gate with no fence , classic lol. Scotch pines are stunning trees , they catch the light beautifully, thanks for sharing.
Innuendos and instant coffee in a Thomas Heaton video - whatever next! Great images in tricky conditions.
Congratulations Tom! you made it to half a million subscribers! very happy for you. Thank you for your efforts. Look forward to getting to one million. I am convinced that it will happen in some time. Thank you for your efforts.

I actually liked the b-roll/vlog images from the last picture with that little stream cut into the ground
All of the shots were worth the misery and effort. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing these images.
Attention to detail, levelling the van. That kind of day is my favourite Scots word...dreich (d..rrrrreek)
More great content!! You just might have to put out a cookbook next! You know how to cook up some amazing looking meals on that little stove and griddle!!!!!👍👍👍👍
OMG, the double-take at 12:28 made me laugh out loud in a very quiet public place!
Love this.
1. I live in the Scottish Highlands and laughed when you drove 2 miles and the weather was different. Yep that's classic Highlands for you.
2. Glen Affric is just stunning. All year round. Just bring insect repellant.

Oh boy, those pine trees!
Just to be beaten by the wonderful pano shot ...
More to come
When the highlands get that wet I usually head for the coast. Big seas, rocks and bays with islands... Not to mention river mouths and fishing boats galore.
I love that Panorama photo you shot! Beautiful! Your first photo, the square one, also lovely. Great photos, despite the ugly weather. 👍
Image 2 is your best work for a while. Absolutely gorgeous
Enjoying this road trip, in spite of weather. One has to be out there or no chance of capturing images
loved the image of the scots pine. the deep reddish brown on the wet branches really popped.
The word for that weather is dreich. Brilliant as ever.
Even if your photography did not go to plan your cooking was certainly better than Adams at least it was proper food! Your pano of the tree's was wonderful. Thank you!
Man, image 2 is fantastic. I love the subtle rainbow.
I really liked the panorama of the grove of trees in front of the lake. Beautiful!
You pano of the 4 trees was just so amazing and luminous.
Nice drone work ;-) considering the weather you got some really great images, Tom! The pano from the other side of the loch is really nice!
Nice is a mild word for this shot.
But whom do I tell this ...
Thanks Adam. Looking forward to your instalments.
Loved the cheeky look, what a good laugh! Coming in my face... 🤣
Amazing photos and video considering the conditions, always amazing to see.
500,000 subscribers as I post this! Congratulations Tom. What a journey over these years.
They were all beautiful today. Nicely done. Merry Christmas!
Great video Thomas. The Scottish weather sure brings some nice treats. The rain intensifies colours, and a surprise pop of sun can be such magic. Love that first arching tree image particularly
Living the van life in those conditions ain’t fun but it’s worth it endure mate 🚐📷 that copse pano is just gorgeous
Inspirational work under adverse conditions. I love all images you created.
Very, very funny! Both me and my wife laughing hard. And yes, great pano!
Cheers again Thomas. Love the videos. Cant beat the smelly boot beside you cooking the vegetables!! 😂 love from Ireland 🇮🇪
* Thomas looks to the camera * I immediately grinned and thought, "Oh you cheeky ..." 😂👏
That look at 12:28 LOL Gavin would be proud
The panoramic of the group of trees are my favorite of this video. Simple and a warm fall feel to it.
Very rare innuendo to go with the excellent images. Pano was sublime..
You always deliver the most stunning images from difficult situations. And the content and flow of your videos is in a different league to the other landscape pros.
That's very kind of you to say. Thanks 👍
Great shots there 👍 Scottish weather does have a habit of ‘coming in your face’, better get used to it lol ! 😂😂
omg...best episode yet. That first tree shot...wow.
I get the the weather is trying but man do you get some images in it. Its such good weather for photography. Well done as always.
That pano at the end was killer!

Hope the weather works out for you in the days ahead!
I liked all the images but the pano was my favorite.
I never realized that there was such beauty in the UK and such vast open spaces before watching your channel.
Makes my want to buy a camper van and go out looking for cold and rainy places to cozy up 😆
Beautiful images in this video and a solid ‘Eeyore’ moment around minute 16😉. Always enjoy your show
It came to a point where i look forward to your next episode on wednesdays mate, you should considered putting two episodes on a weekly basis, i know it could be frustrating, but we would love you even more
Fun! Why roll one wheel on a rock when parking? The pano was awesome. More please.
Curious about the parking too, maybe it wasn't level?
Gorgeous images, like paintings 😍 love, love, love Torridon, it's a special place. Really looking forward to next week 😁

Great images under changeling weather conditions.
Pull off such a great shot at 10:00, in spite of initially annoying interferences.
Love the gate. Going through it and then running around it. LOL.

That 3rd image.....WOW

Just by looking at the video, I can allready see some cool locations. Nice place indeed
I am one curiously waiting your video. He is first landscape photographer i enjoyed lots and still lots. He motivated thousands young photographers.
Nice to see you doing some landscape shots of landscapes
Stunning shot Thomas. We just don’t get those conditions in the Southwest US. We can’t wait to get back to Scotland. Take care and travel safe.
I'd take anything coming in my face if I was capturing stunning shots like those. ;)
Some of my favourite captures Thomas!! Can't wait for the next episode!!
😂😂
That's what she said
watchout for your eyes and you'll be fine...
That's how you make it in the industry 😂
You excel at 'seeing' the shot
Gotta watch that tricky fence…..
I was expecting a comment about the ‘gate’, but you visually dealt with it far better. It sure beats the rain coming in your face!! 😉😉

That Pano of the trees' image for me is absolutely stunning love it
The effort put in for the fence joke..... lol
dude Im addicted to the channel... anyway you could make two episodes a week? lol I know... seriously great stuff!
Thomas, you should use your van to your advantage - shoot from the vehicle if it's raining too heavily / persistently. ;)
Showing all the selected images again is a great way to wrap up the video. Stunning shots, especially given the sub-optimal conditions.
Gorgeous panorama of trees by the loch. !!!
Yes, great video(s) Thomas. Looking forward already to next week. Your first image looked almost 3d, enjoyed it 👍.
Really great compositions, love the light in the second photo especially
Why so damn beautiful... Wish I could also witness this once in a life time..

You're not wrong about the weather. It only gets worse, but bad weather is good weather for the photographer 👍
This location is so wet I was afraid my computer screen would fog up 😂. Love the shot of the tree near the road, though, good job as always!
