Heathrow has a very good lost-and-found - if anyone found it and gave it to any airport employee, they'll have it. Go online and check in with the airport.
I don't know why, but I am *so* ridiculously excited for the release of your UK trip videos. I've been like a kid waiting for Christmas! Glad to hear that you had a great time and that our crappy weather was good to you while you were here.
Same here.
Me too! Glad you guys had a good time. And what a fantastic time to be in London for the Jubilee weekend, it was pretty impressive, I must say. Come back soon!
Me too
Well excited!
Enough with the crappy weather jibe..The weather is what you expect for where we are.. 🙄🇬🇧
Great stuff. I think why a lot of Brits like you guys is because you have an open mind to try new places, culture, food, and open your eyes to life outside the US. Don’t get me wrong the US is a good country (i lived in NY state for a few years) but there’s a massive world out there with lots to offer.
Glad you did not have a bad experience here in the UK.
In regards to your phone, don't just write it off, if you have not already, leave a email to the Airport so they can check lost and found... small chance but you never know, thousands of items of property do actually get handed in every year... and on the small chance of it being there, something may be able to get arranged (Mabey even mention that you are social influencers and it would be a good "story")... but the reality is a wonderer saw it and put it in their pocket before taking a flight home.
yea we notified lost in found at that airport and it hasn't been returned yet. we still check the site daily as well
Ethans face after taking his first swig of a pint of guiness 😂 Priceless! Angela- you need to let us know how many hairs that put on his chest. Looking forward to the vlogs.
The young lady reminds me of Sissy Spacek. Extremely beautiful!
I thought that the first time I saw her om here, she really does :)
Guinness is good for you 😃. Great to see you back home. It really is a pleasure to see our country from another perspective. I hope your vacation was all you hoped it would be, and that now you've seen a small piece of the UK you'll return to see lots more.
Hah Guiness is beautiful
Its really tough to feel proud of the UK at the moment, but you just gave a Brit a warm glow watching that!
It really isn’t. But I guess another aspect of being British is always focusing on the bad things, when there are still a lot of good things going on.
@@langdalepaul I agree. I'm getting on a bit now, and I can honestly say this is the first time I've felt a little bit proud of a Prime Minster. Not the domestic stuff of course, but with the Ukraine Crisis he's been on the money from the start. He could even be described as being principled on the matter. Not that that's ever 100% in a politician of course!
@@nicktecky55 even if you hate Boris, and everything he stands for, he’s not the whole country. To take just two things I could currently be proud of:
1. So many British families have opened their homes to Ukrainian refugees, and gone to great lengths to make them feel safe and welcome, for no better reason than simple human empathy.
2. Our response to the cost of living increase has been mostly pretty measured. Yes, there is obvious discontent, but nothing compared to the current hysteria in the USA over petrol prices. We’re mostly doing what we do best: head down and making the best of a bad job.
I am still proud of the UK. My daughter was unfortunately diagnosed with ALL ( acute lymphoblastic leukaemia ) on May 13th of this year and was admitted the same day and spent a month inpatient receiving the best care possible on a teenage cancer trust unit in Sheffield she was given a human hair wig by the little princess trust and converse have made her a personal harry potter pair of converse and the outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming I feel very very blessed to live in the UK and to get the level of care my daughter has received.
I would say both the US and UK have fallen in recent decades and no longer reflect what they should/once did. Both have incompetent leaders, biased and manipulating media, weak borders and cancel culture whereby people are afraid to speak out, even though it is supposed to be a free, western world.
Great to see you got out of London and travelled to other parts… so many Americans think London is the start and stop of Britain.. glad you enjoyed it. 😊🇬🇧
I'm so happy that you both enjoyed your trip to the UK. From a US expat (lived in the UK since 1987), to my fellow countrymen. It looks and sounds like you had a wonderful time!
Can't wait to see all of the footage, and I'm so sorry that you had a phone stolen, and I can only apologise on behalf of all of us here.
I loved the teaser, especially the 270 year old graffiti by Mr Baker in 1764..!!
But yes, we are going through a bit of a heatwave here with the temperatures in London up in the high 80s and low 90s, which I'm guessing you guys caught some of just before you left. I say heatwave, because generally the UK doesn't enjoy many days in the 90s, although most summers we get temperatures in the mid 80s down south, and averages 75F across the country as a whole, with a little rain sprinkled in for good measure to cool things down and keep the grass green. It's why many Brits and poets refer to it as the 'green and pleasant land'.
'Green Green Grass of Home' ; Peter Sullivan.
'An Emerald is as green as grass,
Just like all the grass back home,
A Ruby red like fresh spilled blood,
As Sapphires shine as blue as Heaven,
A flint gleams in our glorious mud,
As diamonds are a brilliant stone;
Wales a gem across the Severn,
Oh, how I miss my time back home.'
Actually as I understood it it was on the WAY here …not in Britain .. so don’t apologise for us Brits apologise for your fellow Americans ..😊🇬🇧
I was there in May and want to go back real soon. In Texas, it is 102* all week. I was there for 17 days and it was NOT long enough. Every airline is short on employees so travel is rough. Here in the States and in London the airports are hiring.
I started watching your videos many months ago, just to gauge American viewpoints on all things British. You guys have really got hearts of gold. Your vlogs are great! The comprehensive coverage of your visit to the UK is par excellence.......
So pleased for you both, it must have been a total culture shock, come back soon and visit the west country the home of Cider and in Cornwall real Pasty's and clotted cream and the rugged coast line 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Lots of Americans that move here love the weather, it’s just so… mild. Glad you had a great trip, look forward to seeing more, was hoping to meet you I. York but ended up having a family trip to Manchester
Sounds like you managed to fit in a lot of great places. Glad you had a good time. I have always said the UK has the best climate in the world. It's rarely too hot or too cold.
You will definitely miss that fresh grass smell from the UK wet weather ,but down side is way too much rain ! You are both very open minded and adventurous!💛
bloody hell, i'd be expecting a call from our tourist board soon after that montage at the end! beautiful.
So glad you got the weather. People think its always rainy and drizzly here but its not. And when we get a good one there's nothing like a British summer. It's really hot now. Looking forward to seeing all the footage.
There's still a tonne of stuff for you to see in the UK if you ever visit again, glad you enjoyed yourselves!
Yes, I hope they do visit again and maybe see Cornwall and Bath....and the East Sussex coast 🙂
And Whitby - the home of the best fish & chips 🐟 and Captain Cook ⚓ and the beach where Dracula's boat came ashore at Tate Hill Sands 🧛
So glad you enjoyed your trip and you had good weather for it! I can't wait to see more videos on what you did. You two take care now. Such a lovely couple.
For a whistle stop tour of the UK, you look to have visited some great places. Hope you gave yourself enough time to enjoy yourselves at each of them and did get to relax a bit.
The weather continued to get better after you left ! Unusually for us we had a
few days when the temperature here also hit 93 plus fahrenheit, but a few days
was more than enough ! Sad you didnt make the Highlands of Scotland or the
beaches of Cornwall , Norfolk, etc. but it is a reason for you to hurry back!
Glad you had a great trip to the UK. Love from the UK
glad you had a great time over here, can't wait to see what you guys got up to your face drinking that pint was so funny 🤣 💜
I've lived in the UK my whole life (40+ years), and you've now experienced a lot more of it than I have. When the weather gets better, everyone is nicer... until it gets too hot, then we're right back to grumpy. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
😅 yes, that might be true...
I'm glad to hear you have discovered that Britain being regularly wet and miserable is just a myth. We have heatwaves every year and lots of dry weather.
Shane, don't tell everyone, they will all want to come hear!!
Pleased you enjoyed the trip . You both look so rested and relaxed.😉🤗
Glad you had a good time. As an American who has lived in the U.K. for 33 years I'm glad you liked it.
That Guinness face at the end was priceless :)
Sorry about the out-of-date Highway Code - but glad you survived the driving...
I'm really happy you enjoyed your trip here to the UK! Very happy you managed to avoid the worst of the travel chaos too!
I'm glad you enjoyed your trip so much! I loved my trip to England years ago as well. Such an amazing country - it was everything this anglophile hoped it would be!
I hope you're trip was up to you i expectations and you are not disappointed this been a few issues at the moment in the uk with one thing another anyway i hope you had a nice time thanks for coming to visit us 🇬🇧♥️🇺🇲
Thank you for your content and positive comments. I'm so happy you enjoyed our little island and glad you returned home safely ☺👍sorry to hear about Angela's phone though..
I'm so glad you had a good time and hope you come back again
That Castle is amazing BECAUSE its built on top of a Extinct Volcano..... so GLAD you both enjoyed your visit to my birth Country and suprised you crammed in so much. OK travelling round the UK is not as easy as it is to travel round the USA, but you were lucky with the trains and no doubt any car journey was frightening driving on the "wrong side" of the road. Come back again and really explore some of the Gems you missed, the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Norfolk and how can you miss out on Stonehenge.... How many times did you look the wrong way when crossing our UK Roads and was it strange to be back home in the USA for the first day?
Funny thing is in the north of UK we not had hardly any rain for two weeks totally beautiful weather
It’s great to see this update. Like many other viewers I’ve been excited to hear your thoughts and see the videos/photos (don’t give up on your phone being lost. Someone might have handed it in so it’s worth contacting the airport).
Great little montage at the end keeping us all in suspense as to what’s to come over the next couple of months! Can’t wait for the next video!!!😍
I can’t wait to see what you got up to on your trip, it’s always so refreshing to see the UK through the eyes of visitors.
So pleased you had a good and safe holiday and that you made it home before all the travel chaos started. 😄
Yes, I think seeing somewhere familiar through the eyes of someone else is fascinating and enlightening.
It's refreshing seeing foreigners talk about us positively
You sounded so British when you talked in so much detail about the weather. I loved all the videos. Come back soon and see the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. x
I hope that the young chap Joel is similarly fortunate in his sojourns throughout this land - given present circumstances. We should have more English people travelling over yonder and filling us in on their oppinions on the US.
I'm looking forward to following you on your visit to the UK.
Glad you 2 got back home safe! Glad to hear you enjoyed my wonderful country! Can't wait for the UK videos to be released! LLandudno is a beautiful place to visit, I went there last week and the week before! If your from Wales Ll is the letter C, otherwise say it as lan-dud-no, it's easier
The u should be more like an I, so hlandidno is a bit closer.
I can say _Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch_ in four seconds flat. The Welsh _LL_ sound exists in the Toisan dialect of Cantonese.
So pleased you guys enjoyed ,my home country. You sound so excited and happy about it .we just said goodbye to our daughter and American husband plus little granddaughter as they make the long journey back to the west coast of the USA. Thats the only thing that sucks. the USA is so far away from us in Europe
As a mother of a daughter who happens to live nearby at the moment, I do feel for you.... 😶
The title of the video had me concerned, as I was thinking you were giving up broadcasting. So good that's not so.it will be good to seed what you saw and did.
So glad you enjoyed your time over here 🫶
You managed not to look like tourists either! You fit right in!
Wish I'd known when you were in Glasgow, I would've met you for a pint and told you all about the place. Glad you came though, and enjoyed your trip.
Americans seem to think it rains every day here in the uk and that we have alot of fog but I'm glad you enjoyed it here we like the American people here because your very friendly and positive
You went to Stoke On Trent? I'm so sorry for you. Joking, glad you had a great time! Looking forward to see the footage! Best wishes from Staffordshire!
I'm glad you had fun, can't wait to see your videos. I'm interested to know what your thoughts on Scotland are. All the best to you and yours .Rab
Looks like a great months worth of viewing on its way from you two 🤗 looking forward to the next episode 🇬🇧🇺🇸🤗
Between Oxford and Bath lie the world famous Cotswold villages. They are like a fairytale. They are very beautiful and the cottages go back hundreds of years. Most Americans put the Cotswolds on their list. Bibury is world famous and some people say the most beautiful village in the world. It is on page 2 of British passports.
Glad you guys went to Shrewsbury. Hopefully you enjoyed our Salopian hospitality :)
Glad yer back.........as a Scotsman i was looking out for you guys..........looking forward to seeing the content
I'm glad you had a good time and saw so much of the country. You certainly landed in exactly the right time. You hit a good patch of British summer, and got out just before the travel chaos caused by the airport staff shortages and the rail strike. I hope you'll be as lucky when you come back, and we'll be to help you pick a new selection of awesome places to go see. 🤗
Yea, not a fan of Guinness either lol. Its great in a pie though. Looks like you guys had a great time, glad you got this opportunity
Delighted you had fun over here. Can't wait to see your travelogue! Thanks guys.
Great to hear you're back home safe, and that you had a great time here in the UK. I wondered how you were getting on. Looking forward to watching your videos!

So glad you guys enjoyed! Pretty cool you went to some of the not so typical places too. Can't wait to see it all.
Looks like you’ll get a very warm welcome when you return👍🏼love the montage, so much food, and to edit the cut from castles to a Greggs shopfront! Inspired😂. Despite what certain detractors try to spin this is the planets 9th largest island so there’s so, so much still to see. Always good to hear the perspectives of those who don’t take it for granted.🇬🇧. Y’all hurry on back now
I really want to come back within a year but we will have to see.
@@midwestamericans3806 You never spent 40k surely.
