As much as I respect my Marine brothers (fought side-by-side with them in Fallujah '04), you cannot compare a simple Marine Infantryman to a Ranger who has endured months of torturous training. Did you know that Force Recon is given the OPTION of attending Ranger School? Force Recon is up there with Ranger and Green Beret capabilities, but you can't compare them to Green Berets parachuting behind enemy lines, raising an army and fighting against an enemy government on horseback (Afghanistan '01). While Rangers have always been a part of SOCOM, the Marines only recently joined with the establishment of MARSOC. Force Recon is more of an expeditionary unit that responds quick and first. Delta is a counter-terrorism unit that is comparable to only DEVGRU (Team 6) and SAS. Special Forces (Green Berets) = Navy SEALS Delta = SEAL Team 6 Get your facts straight, bud. Don't insult those who gave more.
