Weird comments: bibliophile. Remarkable to me that there are people in an advanced society who can’t read, or don’t like to read and if not for audiobooks would be illiterate. Nothing like turning the page. The intimacy of the book is immersive, involving touch and all the sensations not just the ear. It’s a different experience. And quite different also from having a person read to you or theatre. I suppose the laziness of students today is off putting, too. No effort, no gumption. So typical of younger generations. Poured into they pour out nothing🤷🏽‍♀️
