actually avoid everyone in general when you are in Egypt starting from airport when you arrive until you get back to the airport leaving.. even officials of the airport will try to rip you off.. stores and tourist attractions taxis and some times hotels will try too... even restaurants not so innocent.. so basically don't go there if you up to a nice comfortable and relaxing vacation

Their treatment of animals is disgusting. Towards the end of your video you can see them whipping the horses, even hitting them in the face. I saw much worse in person when I was there. Camel riders hitting their camels in the genital area with whips to get them to move, etc. Its gross to see tourists on camels just for a lousy selfie photo, looking so proud of themselves while atop a camel.

It made me physically sick to watch these horses. Are you aware that the horse pulling your carriage was head bobbing lame? This horse was in massive pain. The white horse following you had a super harsh bit that was yanking his mouth and was having trouble with the hill. The poor thing was trying to kick out to communicate his pain. The horse from your previous day was too weak to pull the carriage uphill. His head was severely pulled into a distressing position and his little legs were struggling. In NYC the bike carriage charges $5 a minute and it's legal and almost all the time a cop is required after the ride, I've seen it hundreds of times driving my Yellow cab at night and in all tourist traps... it's a pandemic so look up.
It's so disgraceful that tourists have to put up with this to visit the greatest wonder of the world. Where are the tourism police? I travelled to Egypt in 2019 and was also harassed constantly by these idiots, despite being with a tour group.
