- An extract of a quarter peal of Grandsire Caters on the glorious 32-0-20cwt Taylor ring of 10 at Maidstone, Kent. Thanks to Alex Runting for providing the belfry views! In my books, these are the best ring of ten bells out there. Gorgeous tone, go well (but need working at to keep in the right place) and clear in the ringing chamber. This quarter peal was rung for evensong, on All Saints Day at All Saints in Maidstone. Fitting, eh? :^)

the pattern of the bells 3,2,1,6,5,4,9,8,7,10 also known as roller-coaster, is just the best. I also like the sound of kings on eight 7,5,3,1,2,4,6,8.

Thanks! That's not my camera actually, it's Ringer Alex's GoPro (not sure what model though) so it would be best to ask him what model it is.
Looks like the 4th could do with its Clapper being tightened 🙂

At the end of the ringing down, why do they continue to rock the bells even after the clapper no longer strikes? And they left three upright?
