I think people dismiss horses like yours as "just workhorses." The reality is that this team is executing driven dressage like Olympians. Amazing horses! All your hard work is obvious!
Such wonderful hardworking horses. Thank you for working them and keeping them healthy, doing what they were bred for! They are also beautiful and a pleasure to look at ! Much love and best wishes ! ♥️🙏♥️
Love seeing these amazing animals pop up in my feed. ♥️ They are the hardest workers on YT imo. Trees in mass are about the heaviest thing I can think of. 🤔 I do hope they get holidays off & weekends wild be great too 😄 Merry Christmas to you all 🎄 as we remember the Savior ✝️ Peace & Goodwill to man & beast. Hallelujah 🙏
You three are a hard working team, you must all sleep well when the end of the day comes. Its plain to see those horse love what they do. Its also plain to see you love those horses.
I’m so thankful you decided to post your work partners online! I admit I had a totally different idea of what life for these magnificent animals would be, and this has made me so happy to see I’d been wrong!
I love love your videos. Just so pure, in a beautiful setting with the most gorgeous horses Gus and Boom Boom. ❤I love all of you! I am so damned happy that you started this channel. ❤❤❤❤
I generally would not agree with any animal being used for physical labour and/or entertainment. But these horses are so obviously well cared for. Ive seen all of them in other clips and they all appear to be happy and contented.
I can't understand why you object to horses actually being used. If horses weren't actually used for riding, work, for sporting events, etc. There would few of the animals left in the world except for various exhibits. humans had a better life thru work animals, ability to pull large loads, work the ground & be able to travel long distances. ???????
@carolwingate9133 because I live in the here and now, not a hundred years ago. I suppose you think we should repeal all child labor laws as well? Lots of things were done years ago that we wouldn't think to do now.
Our feed team of big [2,160# & 2,165#] horses , roan Belgians,, blaze faces, stockings, looked a lot like this team...They too were very maneuverable, plus they had to back the forecart or wagon to every big bale. They showed the hrs. of work & time my husband spent w/them. They'd be waiting at the gate every day, they didn't have to be plugged in, never got stuck & started every morning no matter how cold or how cold the windchill, plus those good morning nickers & the free trot across from their pasture to the barn an added bonus. The wagon had a large cube box, when filled & 2 big bales aboard the load weighed 6,000# more or less. I have no idea how the load they pulled stacked up against the load of logs the pictured horses pulled. My husband got his nose slightly frostbitten on one of those very cold windy days w/VERY cold wndchills. He learned he could hop in the feedbox after the 1st pasture had been fed, shut the lid & Bob & Bill would faithfully pull the whole thing load to the next gate. Any teamster would tell you that wasNothing extraordinary for a team of well trained big boys. I'd like to note that I've heard some men shout at their teams, I don't think good teamsters do, my husband just spoke to his team. My husband always had a saddle horse tied to the off horses hame so if the count wasn't right he could search for the cow More than one calves rode to the barn to be placed in a nice bed of a straw under a heat light. I loved to ride along on Sat. & Sundays.
I'm a new subscriber - What spectacular horses! I wouldve thought you might be up in Vermont, Maine or New Hampshire but you have a southern accent surprisingly. 😊
Just add a set of wheels to the back of the log to make it a bit easier for them. Please. I see enough rescue videos of injured and overworked draft horses.
