Thanks for making this series. I've ordered up the kit for my 66 Caprice, and will start the install next week when it gets here. I followed along with the instructions while watching your videos and it all makes good sense. Thanks again.
@@ImpalaCadillacRestoModDIY One question I had is in the instructions nearing the end. It says to connect the water valve to the evaporator/ heater lower outlet @ the firewall. But both the picture from instructions and in your video, it's connected to the upper outlet.
Brother you are so right there are no detailed videos out there on installing AC. The ones I found tell you a little bit then the next scene the AC is already installed which isn't helpful. I really need to do one for my 69 Impala thank you so much! Glad I found your Channel
I’m glad you like them. That was my intention to help other people. Please subscribe to my channel, I will be adding more videos all along of my impala progress and other car videos
@@ImpalaCadillacRestoModDIY I've just bought A '65 Impala, rough and cancerous in all the normal places for A mid-'60's chevy. These videos of yours just make it feel like I really did make the right choice on this project! Thank You and keep up the great work! It truly is inspiring!
Does your bottom control lever attach to anything. I acquired a 65 impala with Classic Auto Air - there are some issues with defroster. I'm confused by the instructions - sincerely appreciate any insight.
To get defrost on there is one little spot that the bottom lever has to be in to press the button on the box. It’s about an inch from the left. Please call Classic auto air . They have excellent customer service and will help you out better than I can explain. My videos show the entire install. There are 6 videos.
Thank you!!! I bought this will Classic Air already installed and it doesn't work properly - there is no cable connected anywhere on the bottom lever. There are two cables. One cable is connected to the underside of the top lever - with the short switch wire connected to the top side of the top lever. The middle cable controls the temperature (hot or cold) - leaving nothing for the bottom lever. I will follow up with Classic Auto Air tomorrow.

Hi, I have a 67 chevy Impala and I understand there’s a 2 year difference but I was wondering if the process of installing an ac would be the same
It would probably be very similar if not identical. The instructions they send with it will tell you step by step what to do.
wouldnt the 67 chevy impala be almost the same process? im considering buying this
It would probably be almost the same
