as much as i love coldplay their very VERY reminisant of many albums/bands around the time,i cant remember many but Radiohead right now,but there are others too.
For me: Parachutes; Rush of Blood... ; X & Y; ... and still Ghost Stories - give it a chance and listen to the song called "Another's Arms" ... There's still a fresh pure feeling on some songs from Ghost Stories! ;)

He made frequent references to them going Bon Jovi massive. If I remember correctly, before they played Yellow he made some comment about how it was their next single and it was going to make them massive. He was clearly being funny and self depricating, but obviously it did happen.
Back when they were not mass production music...and you can see he feeels the damn song, comes from the depth. He pretty much has a Radiohead kind of sad mood

I understand what you mean Jorge Nuñes, I stopped to listen to them after X & Y, ... BUT recently I gave another chance to one of their latter albuns - "Ghost Stories" - and I had a good surprise with some of the songs... Its a different sound from this era, but I was not as predictable as I thought at first, take my advice and give a Listen to: "Another's Arms"; "Midnight"; and "O" from Ghost stories... I think "Another's Arms" must be one of their best songs ever, up to the level of their first 3 albuns. All the Best to you! ;)

thats not true that they are bigger than bon jovi i would say the same size. havent got problem with coldplay next month im going to see them in Prague but i have to look when bon jovi has got the biggest gigs and best albums not now ... :)
Coldplay are very different from other bands. All Coldplay fans know what they really are and the type of music they make is heaven to them . I'm am a proud Coldplayer for life.
@JackieBushie Sux that Coldplay doesn't write any more unique and rare songs like this, but all their most popular songs are getting more success which is just driving me crazy.. it's just this period of ours of a change in music.... mostly the music is getting more ringtonish and mainstream. I'm gonna sit back and enjoy some Led Zeppelin for now....
@soundslikeblue yea I love the acoustics on parachutes, its alot more natural than there newer stuff, more coldplayish, but the other 3 are fantastic too, just different
