  • The Ibsen House in São Paulo, Brazil, designed by MFMM Arquitetura, blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor living. Instead of walls, sliding panels and vertical gardens create open, flexible spaces that can be opened up for socializing or closed off for privacy. The pool serves as the central feature, visible from most rooms and offering a cool, refreshing atmosphere. The master suite has a floor-to-ceiling opening that can be completely closed off with a wooden panel that doubles as a deck when open. Lush landscaping throughout provides a natural feel and further connects the interior and exterior spaces. On the upper floor, the office has a similar opening to the downstairs areas. A rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi and dining area offers additional space for entertaining and relaxation. Even the basement, which includes a gym and garage, has a special feature: the Redroom, a party space with unique red neon lighting. Throughout the house, the focus is on creating a seamless connection between people and nature.

If this jungle is anything like Thailand, you will have Jing-Joke (small lizards) for room mates. Most Thai’s don’t mind, but, I think you will have too many. Along with many other bugs. Hum…? I would have liked to see the panels close.
