Brilliant analysis as usual BRG. It is very clear that like the Balenziaga adverts, a LOT of planning and deliberate INTENT has gone into the design and concept of Rema’s artwork for his music. The sublime message of course, is open to subjective interpretation, however to my eye which is admittedly untrained in understanding the nuances of art, perception and visuals are important. I see a burning upside down CHURCH with skeletons and thorny roses linked to music and I think of lucifer and his main tool of using music for his agenda. Personally, I find it disturbing and more alarming that this young man is a global ‘star’ and influencer. I’m not happy with his explanation. Peace.
