I have the version with a metal bracelet and a silver dial with blue numbers. It's a gorgeous watch. I am more than happy to have it in my collection. Thank you so much for this wonderful review. Now I love him even more !!!
At first glance the design wasn’t my ‘cup of tea’ but it grew on me as the video went on. Really like the colour combination of the dial and it looks very well made for the price, especially as there is quite an expensive movement inside it. Nice review!
So, what is the retail price? MSRP. Its all about tax write offs. As far as I know, all manufacturers use higher msrp. Why would anyone bring up invicta when talking about Hamilton? They aren't even in the same ball park. I'm sure thats a whole other discussion.
Invicta sells their watches at the discounted price directly from their website. Hamilton doesn’t. One is a marketing tactic, the other is a free market phenomenon. Way different
@@mariog7213 that sounds intelligent but not sure I understand it. I do know, these guys at MVMT say they make watches cheap dare I say affordable and take out the middle man. Funny how my brother and I were in Times Square, NYC summer 2019 and INVICTA and MVMT had same size stores , side by side. I am not sure what that means either but smells fishy!
@@MikeAustin2012 every single model listed on invictas site is the same. They show a “msrp” of whatever amount and then automatically show a discount price. This tactic makes buyers feel like they’re getting a deal because the retail price is supposed to be in the thousands but in reality the price they’re selling at is the price they would really sell for. On the other hand, Hamilton sells their watches at msrp and sometimes authorized dealers sell their stock at a discounted price to whole sellers in order to maintain the required volume to continue being an authorized dealer. That’s the gray market
@@mariog7213 Thank you and I totally agree. Maybe because I am 68 and I have known this all my life, Its silly to not know this. My only point is, most folks know Hamilton is a great watch, well made and with a history. Invicta, not so much but nearly every manufacturers over states the value of the product. I have bought many products and watches. Some over priced, etc. One of my most recent watches, an Invicta was with gimmicks, almost free, a blue aviator 48 or 52mm with an 8 slot waterproof case. $30 or $30. I got $65usd for a gold face, gold metal bracelet automatic. I sure wish I had t back for what it meant to me. Cheers friend.
I bought a Hamilton Khaki Field watch earlier this year, and have been VERY pleased and impressed with it. If the quality of this watch is similar to my field watch, then at under US$300, it would seem to represent outstanding value for money.
I've got my eye on that Hamilton Khaki field watch. Not ready to spend that much money on a watch yet. It's one of my many GRAIL watches...... Maybe in the future.
Thank you for the review. I own three Hamiltons and have my eye on a couple more for the future. I wasn’t aware of this one. Also thank you for the promo code. 🇨🇦

Well done Oleg. Didn't know about this Hamilton. You have just helped Ashford make another sale. Postage to UK is $29.95 even though their Web sight doesn't list the UK specifically that is what I have been charged. UK sellers don't get close to such a competitive price like this, even when adding customs charges. I agree with mistermikeyjay it reminds me of the Panerai yet not so bulky. Also, the orange is calling to me!
I've been looking at a glycine combat sub from jomashop but hesitant as people say you have to pay quite a bit for delivery and their is taxes bringing it onto the UK where I am.
@@davidbridge5652 Hi David, my watch was delivered by UPS just now so 3 days from New Jersey. i got my additional bill for importing the watch into the UK by both email and text and paid online using the link they provide. Thanks for the review Oleg I have looked at this one a few times Its nice to see how it wears on a 7.5 inch wrist now I just need to get past the WR rating if it was 100m I would be all over it Hope Mr. Bond is taking Sir Connery's passing alright and that everyone is staying safe and healthy Cheers
I still enjoy this channel a lot even though I might never be able to afford another watch ever again. The Field Watch would be my choice if I could. You look much hotter without the beard.
The orange really pops. Nice! Affordable? My $100 bracket for an affordable watch has jumped to $250... Could be because where i live everthing is more$$$
It's a very attractive watch. I would buy the 38mm version, but I would want more than 50m water resistance. It's a good value alternative to a Rolex Explorer, I think.
Thanks Mr lucked. You don't have to be in Poland to be poor. Yes, $300 is a lot to a lot of people. This is why it's important to me to know I'm getting the most for what I have. We all can't afford a Hamilton just because it comes in a fancy box and a well known name. There are great watches with all you want for $80 to $100. OR you can pass away $300 or more and be a watch snob. Oleg is a great guy and covers most without condescending to anyone. Just skip the haters. If I've ever hit that mark, I didn't mean to or was misunderstood. Oleg & Bond and Ivan from Perth watch are my favorites!
I have the 38mm bracelet version bought from Ashford a few months ago for $299. The differences are the date window placement (4:30) and 19mm lugs which doesn't bother me much because I like the bracelet. Actually my biggest complaint is the extremely hard to see seconds running track because I like to set the time precisely. Nice review and this watch is a good value imo. Anyone else think this is a decent alternative to the Sinn 556a?
My major issue with this watch is the colour of the hand and indices. I wouldn't mind if they were in an off-orange fauxtina shade but this orange is to garish in my opinion.
Looking at the specs. it all makes perfect sense, however I’m not so keen on the watch. Looks a bit TW Steel which is not a good thing in my book. Hey can’t like em all. 🤷♂️
That lume shot had me confused, big time. The minute hand baton disappears when it's on the hour baton. Needs different shade of lume to be able to differentiate between the two. Hope all is well with you and yours. Take care.
Nice enough watch. However, the minute track needs to be visible for me, I found from experience I don’t like the blackout effect. Also, would not want orange, would want C3 markers.
With the narrow bezel it looks bigger than it's already too big size. Whether one likes the dial design is a personal preference, of course but I wouldn't buy it even if it were smaller. I have the Khaki field auto and I'm quite fond of it.
Love the colour, and the aesthetic. Great value proposition. Shame about the UK tax situation, or I would have one. Date is cool, and unobtrusive. Maybe the strap stitching is a bit busy. Interesting review, first of these I’ve seen.
Bro thanks a lot for the great review👌 Love that watch and placed my order right now👌 Kind regards from the Oleg & Bond Fanclub Berlin Germany😜😜😜😉😂🇩🇪😜😎⌚😍👍
That's a bargain. Been looking at these for a while, I do like Hamilton... Unfortunately import tax to UK (& $59 postage) would put the price up considerably. Damn shame, nice watch. Edit- all watches would be improved by getting rid of the date! (pointless complication unless you have the memory of a goldfish! Ruins most watches, especially at 3) Cheers mate 👍🏻👍🏻
@@mrbacchus6127 surely it wouldn't be difficult (& cheaper) to not cut a date window in the dial tho, & I'm sure they'd sell more if both options were offered. Thanks for the comment 👍🏻

Love how the crown guards meet the crown! Very nice watch and so affordable for what it is!
Must have been a limited time offer. Today the 19th it is $495
The orange and the numbers / markings remind me of a Panerai Luminor. Great review, hope you and Mr Bond are well.
Other than the color a bit of Longines Conquest to it too.
