Thank you so much. This is the last review I'll watch before I order Fantech for delivery. My choice is BM800 and Fantech - glad the latter get good reviews from just few users online. Keep it up. Nice review. Comments made earlier said this is a straightforward review - hell it is. Thanks.
Dude...I loved everything about your content...Subbed...Just don't stop making videos...You'll do great in future...It's rare for me to sub to any RUclipsr nowadays...But it was honestly one of the best lowkey review videos I've seen in long time...Take love
Hey I am glad I found this review. You've done a great job explaining everything. Does this mic pickup keyboard sounds like while gaming and talking? What do you think about the Fantech MCX02 compared to this one? Which one would be a better choice for eliminating keyboard and background noise?
So far i haven't had any issues with keyboard clicks (i use Cherry MX-Blues). But i also set my mic to around 25%(9 o'clock) for the most part and your mileage may vary depending on how high you set your mic's pickup to be. As for the MCX02, I haven't had any experience with it as its new so I can't really "in-depth" feedback on it. So i can't really give much of an opinion on either one cause i'd probably be biased to the MCX01 that I'm using now.
Thank you so very much as I have been concerend about buying a new mic after the current one I bought is so quiet. But it looks like this one will do the trick and I just ordered one. Thanks again!
Hey bro. Can I ask 2 questions? 1) Is that mic still okay for your use case? 2) Compare to Fifine K699B(which is around RM139), which one do you prefer? Btw nice content and well explained!
Hiya! 1) Yes it is! Haven't had a single issue with it till this day. (Then again I have it on a mic arm and I don't move it around much). 2) Personally I prefer the MCX-01 over K669B. I prefer to have the safety of a detachable cable in the event that i'm a dum dum and don't want to spend on a new mic again. (again, personal preference). Otherwise, they're both very solid USB Mic's and if you're in the market for either one, I'd say you're in the right place and just go with whichever. Sound Quality wise, they are both very similar. Only exception is that the MCX-01 has a dedicated "Mute" Button and (again, my opinion.) a "special" use Echo knob if you fancy a little more "flavour" to your mic. Whereas the Fifine K669B has just a single Volume/Gain Knob. tldr: Both do a great job at what its intended. All down to personal preference and budget.
Hiya! I did not edit any part of the audio in this video. Everything you hear from the mic is exclusively the mic on its own. Did not do any Gain/EQ/Comp/Gate filters on it.
@@Litepak10 the quality of this microphone is absurdly good, it has the quality of a $300 Hyperx, very good, I really liked the video, continue with the beautiful quality, and the price of the microphone is very affordable for this quality size
Personally, I haven't had any experience with the Tonor TC-777 (so i can't really compare these 2 head to head). But, looking at the specs & form factor, I would compare it closer to the Fifine K669b. i CAN speak for the K669b and say that it is a very solid option if you are looking for a USB Mic around that same price range! (and similar features to the TC-777).
When I recorded this video, all of the audio coming from the mic is purely "plug-n-play" and i didn't do any audio editing. But i do use OBS when i stream and fine tune it with: Equalizer/Noise Gate/Compression. (Mostly just to balance out the audio and not make ears bleed by being too loud).
Unfortunately the front headphone jack is only for monitoring. Would still recommend plugging your earphones into your pc as that would give you the best audio quality though!
Hiya! Personally I would recommend the Samson C01. Though do keep in mind it does require phantom power/audio interface with phantom power in order for you to get the most out of it. However if you're looking for a "no-hassle" plug and play USB microphone, I'd say the MCX01 is a good shout for vocals!
nope, the only things I have that affects the acoustics is my bed, curtains and a rug under my table. Maybe you can try messing around with the gain knob and try to find a sweet spot?
hey! I only realize that it has that high pitched noise when i have it at about 80%-100% volume. Otherwise i rarely get that on my mic's monitor output.
@@Litepak10 actually bow that you mention it it is only when the gain’s only around there o,o I wonder why it was so prominent before when it was new anyway thanks for replying! I was finally able to confirm it’s not that I had a defective unit but is a part of the mic itself
I'm not entirely sure of this as I don't own a PS4. To my understanding, you can use any simple plug and play USB Mic for the PS4. As for monitoring the audio, i'm not really sure of that and don't want to give out wrong information. sorry
@@amilaandarage9734 No worries. Unfortunately for a USB A > USB C converter, I can't confirm this as I haven't tried it myself. However assuming it's plugged into your Mac, it should work just fine. But if it's connecting to a phone, I am not sure of that.
So glad there's a review in English. Allah bless

Best review for this item compared to others. Good job!
Not to mention xlr condenser mics need phantom power, usb interface mics are much more efficient, money wise.
Yup! that's very true
Thank you for the review :D
was about to pick up a Seiren Mini before finding your vid in the recommendation. and picked up the MCX01 instead lol.

I wondering about wind noise cancelation? Have you tried to sit near a fan?
I don't have a stand fan right next to me, but I am sitting directly under a fan and have yet to hear any wind noise on my mic. Hope this helps :)
Is it still good after 3 years of using?

man, which camera do you use? I liked her

you should keep going man
Yo man, do you have any mic stands for the fantech?

I'm thinking of getting one. Does it actually make that blinking noise when you mute/unmute?
Cool! Sadly yea it does do that "dink" each time you use the mute button on the mic.

Does it require phantom power? Or i can directly plug it in my pc and use it?
Hiya! The mic doesn't need any Phantom Power as it plugs directly into your PC via USB. So you can just plug it in and use it straight away!
I wish there was a way to turn off the RGB

isNoise cancellation good or bad....
Noise cancellation is decent. Would give it a solid 8/10. However, do keep in mind that higher gain would likely result in less noise cancellation.
