kitaro is very good at what he does, i got a tape of a 1990 that i play a lot, i thought he was gone by now, my mother past away in 2005 the last peace of this brought tears to my eyes, all i could think of through out this number was my mom, well done kitaro you brought me back my mom for a short time, i closed my eyes and thought of all the good things that we did, thank you KITARO

I just LOVE Kitaro's [Masanori Takahashi] music!! He is a genius musician and composer for keyboards, guitar, bass guitar, Japanese flutes, drums, percussion and more! I love the sounds he creates - it 'transports' you. . . It sends shivers down your intellectual spine! He will go down in history not just as one of the best Japanese composers but one of the world's greats - his name is forever etched and his music will endure the test of time for generations to come! A great favourite of mine!

Amazing piece of concert and performance art. Excellent cinematography and audio work as well. Kitaro plays his heart out and offers it to the entranced folds of our brothers across the border. The first time that I saw Kitaro play was in 1991 when he was still cocooned in the silkied dreams of those Dragooned Isles To The East. At around forty minutes in, Kitaro's orchestra crescendos and the cosmic narrative conveyed: we are the inheritors of our past in this new land. Each note of his soloist's bluesy bellows further accentuated by the magnificent textiles of the Native Indians that I could imagine. In order to lament the raising of the Soul with the thunderous echos of Kitaro's ritual drum magic across the Zacateca pallid desert night. Beats of mental and spiritual liberation that regained force, repeatedly, blow after blow. Surely the ghost of Pancho Villa was in attendance, and Mickey Hart and Alpha Blondy would be proud too. He's the best. I had the privilege of seeing him perform live in Knoxville, Tennessee almost 20 years ago. I wish some of his earlier work, such as Silver Cloud with its Earthborn were still available for it was this release that made me fall in love with his music and become a lifetime fan.

Amazing piece of concert and performance art. Excellent cinematography and audio work as well. Kitaro plays his heart out and offers it to the entranced folds of our brothers across the border. The first time that I saw Kitaro play was in 1991 when he was still cocooned in the silkied dreams of those Dragooned Isles To The East. At around forty minutes in, Kitaro's orchestra crescendos and the cosmic narrative conveyed: we are the inheritors of our past in this new land. Each note of his soloist's bluesy bellows further accentuated by the magnificent textiles of the Native Indians that I could imagine. In order to lament the raising of the Soul with the thunderous echos of Kitaro's ritual drum magic across the Zacateca pallid desert night. Beats of mental and spiritual liberation that regained force, repeatedly, blow after blow. Surely the ghost of Pancho Villa was in attendance, and Mickey Hart and Alpha Blondy would be proud too. Sou brasileira, admiradora da história e da cultura da América pré-colombiana,sobretudo do México pré-colombiano e, ouvindo este concerto pude sentir de uma maneira que não sei explicar, a "alma" destes povos presentes nas notas e nos movimentos da música... e ainda acompanhadas de um comovente sabor oriental. Meu abraço fraterno!

He's the best. I had the privilege of seeing him perform live in Knoxville, Tennessee almost 20 years ago. I wish some of his earlier work, such as Silver Cloud with its Earthborn were still available for it was this release that made me fall in love with his music and become a lifetime fan.
We saw him in Cupertino back in October 1989 right after the earthquake. When he hit the kettles and gong, we thought they were aftershocks.
