Hello Micheal.. Hope you doing well these days It's a really interesting topic and i enjoyed by listening to this episode You asked about the time when the consumerism at its worst in our country is.. And i can honestly say it is on Ramadan and Eid Al-Fiter These are holly months in the Islam religion.. And people become really exciting when they are getting closer before few days of these tow months people going to the supermarket and buying food's ingredients, juices and lots of stuff.. Their shopping cart become full And the stores sell Ramadan and Aid's decoration.. So we spend a lot of money to celebrate them It is beautiful things we have because our religion tells us to show our respect and joy to the religious rites I don't think it's a worst consumerism.. There are many meanings about spending a lot of money on these great months.. As an example, there is many people helping poor families to feel happy with us by buying goods to them, or clothes.. Or gave the money though It's really fine vibes... ❤️ A last thing i splashed out my money on was novels and books.. Once in books fairs, and the last was an end of year offers, buy tow books and get 1 free I was waiting for these tow things for a long time, so i never want to miss it.. No regret 🌚👍🏻 Thank you for this episode, and i am waiting for the next
Interesting to hear! When I think of Muslim traditions, I definitely don't think of consumerism, but then again, I don't know enough about it. But as you said, perhaps food isn't the worst thing to splash out on. Books seem like a great choice! Glad you have no regrets 😊
I like you when you say "hello English learners". You say by special way. FROM YEMEN
It's accidentally become my catchphrase! Thanks for watching
Nice to see you here😍
