as local resident here,I couldn't believe you were doing cycling during that period of time when that fierce typhoon hit here. 😱I admired your challenging spirit very much.Btw it’s really nice to see you cycle around my island 😊…I enjoyed your filming fully and felt empathy for your unexpected experience …
The typhoon actually hit land on the day after my cycling, but maybe as you know, the rain and wind came several days before that. So I suppose it could have been worse! Glad you liked the videos though - in hindsight, it was fantastic when the weather was nice.
Oh nooo! That wasn't my intention. I got very unlucky. I think if it weren't for the rain and storm, I would have loved it. Hopefully my criticism isn't seen as a dislike of Taiwan itself
I’m so happy to hear that you came to Taiwan, but I’m also ashamed of the bad experience you had with the cycling environment in Taiwan. The experience you had is the same as what Taiwanese people face. Our government is making significant efforts to improve traffic, but I know it’s not enough. I hope Taiwan will be a great place for cyclists when you visit next time.
Banana 😉. I made quite similar experience not in Taiwan but in Germany and Czech Republik, Two times around 700 to 800km approx. Your story evoked a lot of memories. Yes and the best frind is going to be the saddle😅
Banana🍌🎉 The delicious dessert is called "豆花 /dòu huā/ " in Chinese. It may be translated to "tofu/soybean pudding" in English. I like it served with sugar syrup.
Firstly, let me congratulate you on your challenge. I think it was a harder work than I can imagine. If I were you, I couldn’t endure the loneliness when I had to continue to pedal alone. Under that situation, it might be natural you didn’t feel like to talk in other language. I do hope your leg has already or will be recovered and you will achieve your goal in the near future. お疲れ様でした!!!!!🥺 私はもちろんバナナ🍌
Possibly! Although it can be a bit annoying when RUclipsrs do that. Also, these episodes get posted to audio platforms too, so it might be confusing for those listeners
Thank you so much! Absolutely! You can explore the options more on the website here: courses.levelupenglish.school At the moment, we're focused on teaching group classes there (as well as many other courses you can study). Private lessons are something I'm considering for the future. Let me know if you have questions about it.
Thanks a bunch! I just do this podcast and run the Level Up English Members site. That's why I'm so appreciative of all viewers, listeners and members. Without you, I wouldn't be able to continue.

How my time did you take to train from zero to the level to start the trip?
No trains at all! I started cycling from the centre of Taipei from Day 1. The only train. I took was the final 50km back into the city.
