    It is said that one of the best way to learn a language is to listen to or read something that you find interesting at your level.     Never heard of 'hedonic adaptation' before (it's rarely mentioned in my language), but I can totally relate to the concept. It's often very disappointing to see how quickly we get used to something exciting at first.

      Happy to share a new phrase with you! I hear it quite a bit on various different podcasts I listen to, but it really depends on what circles you spend time in. The average person on the street may not know the meaning
