Bandwaginesque is a formidable album ,one of my all time favourite albums. Great tune.
I saw them live when I was 15/16 (?) and totally forgot they existed until I saw "Young Adult". I'm 37 like Charlize's character so I guess the timing makes sense. This was a great album.

This song was on some promotional compilation tape I had way back in '92. It also had "She's Mad" by David Byrne, a Sugarcubes song, and a cool song by Sarah McLaughlin before she blew up called "Into The Fire." I wore that tape out. Ahh, the college years.

Its always nice to see a comment from someone who makes a bunch of sense. I really dig what you wrote hear my friend and I agree with you 100%. I was part time deejaying at Stonehill College in Massachusetts and I used to open my shows with this song all the time. Vampire Weekend and Silversun Pickups have impressed me somewhat lately but I still miss the 70's, 80's and 90's.
