Me too. Took my daughter. Miss Lisa Fisher is hard to replace and I miss her and Bobby Keys another hard to replace member. Glad Lisa is out on her own.
Gimme Shelter, a #1 classic masterpiece and musical work of art 🎉🎉 Mick and Keith are songwriting geniuses 🎉🎉They are always way ahead of their time 🎉🎉
Going on the 14th. 1st time seeing the Stones. I was priced out as a kid and priced out again so I held out until Ebay sellers had to unload them at face value (I was counting on that!) Bob Dylan played at a tiny college theater when I was in nursing school so it's been 20 years. I'm stoked!
Most outrageous!! Best friends of the family JENS WEIDEN invited me in to The Golden Voice Box OMG I still have my Desert Trip bracelets on!!! They were with me both weekends and the vibe will continue until it literally falls off my wrist!!!
I thought that the RS's would have been done 20 years ago. I stand corrected. And it is no stretch to say that Mick is one of the greatest front men to ever grace the stage. Rock on!
The key is, Mick was always chided for his voice, where in fact long term, he has had the last laugh cause he still sounds the same, albeit a touch deeper in some spots.
I think this sounds raw as shite !!!. Really good . These ICONS are amazing, most of in our 70;s will need hip replacements, these guys just keep going,,,good for them!!.
The core of the band is Keith, Charlie, and Mick. I definitely agree with you. They were killing it in the 90s and 2000s, at that stage they were definitely the best live act and that was without Bill and Taylor. They are great musicans and Stone members, but the Rolling Stones are the Rolling Stones because of Charlie, Kieth, and Mick. No offense to them and Ronnie, but put any good bass player and guitar in that slot, you'll have the Stones. Can't just be anyone of course.
Thora F If someone doesn't add Charlie to the list they don't know Stone music at all or music very well I would say. Charlie Watts in my opinion is the best drummer all time. I think Brian was major influence on how they play dual guitar roles but they have been amazing without Mick and Brian though. But as a band they were at their best with Mick, Keith, Charlie, Bill, and Brian/Mick. But me personally I'm a big fan of their tour work on 40 Licks, A Bigger Bang.
Who is this girl singing Merry Clayton’s vocals? Merry is incredible! For any who don’t know- Merry is an American Gospel singer from Atlanta, GA and she is the woman who sings on the Stones album. Even tho she agreed to record the song with them… im pretty sure she washed her hands of it directly afterwards. She didn’t have one thing to do with the Stones, or Gimme Shelter, in any way after the recording. No promo sessions, no pop ups giving the audience a treat in live performances, nothing. She said “that song always left a bad taste in her mouth”, and continued on to say, “that she didn’t regret doing it [the song] but there were times where she wished she hadn’t agreed to do it”. Great song, tho. It is, has been and always will be my favorite Stones song.
I hate when people talk trash about Keith, without Keith there's no Rolling Stones. Keith and Charlie are the sound basically and mostly Keith at that. He isn't what he once was, but he's still pretty good.
What are people comparing them too these days? If they are comparing them to the Stones of Yesteryear, then the Stones of today are doing a really good job!!
I've seen the Stones 14 from 1972--2015 last show Indy 500 Speedway on July 4th Keith screwed 4 different times but he's still "Riff Master" if anyone done as much heroin as him they would have been dead a long time ago at 72 he gets a pass oh by the way 55,000 rocked for 2 hours Greatest studio Band Greatest live Band in their prime I've seen them Orange Bowl Citrus Bowl Gator Bowl Cotton Bowl U Missouri football stadium Georgia Tech football stadium Soldier Field in Chicago just a few of the shows I have seen Still Rocking at 66
The crowd is not helping. When the crowd is dead.. the band is like who gives a fuck😂😂. Let's play the set list and get off the stage. When they came through the D during zip code they were amazing live. Mick is almost moving in slow motion here which I've never seen on any videos😂 .
Pretty freakin good audio capture- good bloody work mate! And the boys seem to actually give a shite this time out! But, is it me, or are they playing this one just a wee bit too slow? Charlie, are you with me? In any case, kudos to Sasha Allen.
If you watch Lisa in Amsterdam in 95 this pales in comparison. Don't take my word for it, just watch it. This isn't even close to the energy Lisa could create.
I was there. That girl blew everyone away. She was amazing. And all these young kids were blown away by Jagger's energy.
That woman has a DYNAMIC voice!! BLOWwww's me right a kiss away ;)
Me too. Took my daughter. Miss Lisa Fisher is hard to replace and I miss her and Bobby Keys another hard to replace member. Glad Lisa is out on her own.
@@davidmckown5672she's not bad but don't nailed the high notes without screaming, hard to forget queen Liza.
I was there and Sasha blew my face off when she came out!! One of the highlights of the weekend. She was GREAT!
No one can touch the Stones! Simply incredible.
Obviously you're not a golfer!
Five yrs ago today! Now go look at their show a few nights ago in Pittsburgh. They sound nearly just as good and Keith still hits every note. Amazing.
One of the best performances of the trip. Best audio I'll ever witness!!
THE ROLLING STONES AMAZING
saw them in 1970, and 1990, am I 2 ole 2 rock ? very good performance tonite !
God, we danced our asses off during The Stones set. 80K+ people going mad. So great.
This was the best of the best - and this young lady what a voice
le plus grand groupe de rock..merci les STONES !!
This has always been my favorite Stones song, but GoodFellas has made me love it even more.
And The Departed:D

The Greatest Concert I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!
Loved this. His singer was amazing!
Wow....that Sasha has an awesome voice....love it!!!
These guys just keep getting better!!!
Gimme Shelter, a #1 classic masterpiece and musical work of art 🎉🎉 Mick and Keith are songwriting geniuses 🎉🎉They are always way ahead of their time 🎉🎉
Gotta give it up to The Stones. 50 years and still high octane. Thanks for posting.
Holy shit that was SWEET
Charlie has great drumming posture! That along with pure greatness with his working tools the drum kit.
I love you, raking the leaves at the Rooster farm and beautiful day!

Extraordinary.
I thought that the RS's would have been done 20 years ago. I stand corrected. And it is no stretch to say that Mick is one of the greatest front men to ever grace the stage. Rock on!
Awesome..!! and the female vocal..!! Man..!! Wow..!!
I think this sounds incredible. Great recording!
Mick's voice has held up so much more than Sir Paul's. I'm very sorry to have to make that assessment and would have loved to witnessed this event.
The key is, Mick was always chided for his voice, where in fact long term, he has had the last laugh cause he still sounds the same, albeit a touch deeper in some spots.
Daniel Sather Daniel, whoever you are, you are 100% correct!
Crashed & Cursed Thank You! I mean I love Paul too, but, its clear who the winner of Battle of Bands was this weekend.
If the Stones were better, that would be a first. Seen Paul many times and the Stones too, McCartney is always much better!
tbh the winner of the bands were the who
and the winner of the solo artists was defo Bon Dylan
Sasha Allen.... FIERCE... love it...GO GIRL

With Lisa Fisher on stage.
I think this sounds raw as shite !!!. Really good . These ICONS are amazing, most of in our 70;s will need hip replacements, these guys just keep going,,,good for them!!.
Ive seen the Stones WITH Mick T , and without. Still great with or without him.

The Strolling Bones!
It's just a shot away.
soo cool...I must see them live.
The thing is that Merry Clayton was untouchable.
And to think she did it at 3am while 7 months pregnant!
Good stuff as usual ain't change much since 1964😊 looks a bit 😮like a I phone convention
Thanks!
Legendary
An off night for the Stones. They needed Mick Taylor.

Leave Keff alone, he's the man alright.
I hate when people talk trash about Keith, without Keith there's no Rolling Stones. Keith and Charlie are the sound basically and mostly Keith at that. He isn't what he once was, but he's still pretty good.

Who’s Keff? Is that the new roadie? I know it was an honest mistake but please check your stuff when bitching. It’s Keef.

We were there aswell, quite poignant, for the times now. Peace please.🤘✌🙏☮🕉👀👁😎🎸👣👣
This song needs Lisa Fisher!
Clearly they need Mick Taylor to get them sounding great again !

Félicitations !
The crowd on Friday night was dead.

So raw, so good... unbelievable!! But where is Lisa Fischer? Credit to this new lady however.....
She is Sasha Allen, 34 . We saw her on the VOICE. She joined the Stones in January or February for the Latin American Tour.
She is good but she is no Lisa Fischer
I agree completely.

Love the Stones! .. Big Keith Richards fan .. but my god, he doesn't even look like he's RELATED to the young Keith Richards!!
Like he says he's not so much getting OLD as EVOLVING !! I think the guy is incredible and totally authentic.
If you watch Lisa in Amsterdam in 95 this pales in comparison. Don't take my word for it, just watch it. This isn't even close to the energy Lisa could create.
Jagger sounds good but the band is on downers
check out Fake Fan's videos.....They are all from the same prospective, and (s)he had GREAT seats.
Awesome. Who is the girl?
Sasha Allen
Is that a Les Paul Jr for Keef?
yes. he's been using it on and off since early 70s...
